  Acrobat and Reader automatically create hyperlinks if the text appears to be a hyperlink. This means that something in the direction of [email protected]<>[email protected]> would automatically be a hyperlink.

  You could put a hair space and it kern back in the middle of the text to fool it.

  You must select the text and then drop-down menu hyperlink should allow you to any mailto address or link.

• don't open emails a hyperlink on all Web sites (to send an e-mail)!

  last week, suddenly, Firefox stopped allowing me to open an e-mail when I click on JOIN or a real email address on a Web site (any site Web, including mine). I don't get any what error message or a warning, simply nothing happens when I click on a hyperlink email. How doI know it's about Firefox? because I CAN open the mails a hyperlink in Internet Explorer (which I keep as a return to the top of the browser), not a problem. I've never had this problem with Firefox so far, either.

  As I much prefer to use Firefox (and still do), this is a very annoying problem.

  What e-mail program is installed on your machine? A mailto link starts the e-mail program installed on your machine and pre-fills a new e-mail. If there is no e-mail program installed, so I expect that the link does nothing. Probably, it is also possible to configure your browser to prevent it from launching any e-mail program.

  The attribute class is valid within a tag. This is to allow Muse to format the appearance or adjust the behavior of the link. It is not the cause of the default link start your e-mail program.

As pa of the upgrade process, I uninstalled Google Chrome as directed by the instructions to upgrade.  IE has been and still is my default browser.  Immediately after completing the upgrade process to Windows 7, all hyperlinks email from Outlook 2007 stopped working, and I get an error message: "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.  Contact your system administrator. »

  I am the administrator.  IE is the default browser.  I spent the value by default, Safari and back to IE, but no change.  I looked at several forums, but none address this issue more specifically to the Windows 7 upgrade.

  AVG is known to cause problems with OE.  One thing that must be done is to ensure that is NOT set to scan the mail.  I know that the only way in the past to avoid this problem is to uninstall AVG and then reinstall it with the email Scanner option is disabled.  I don't understand what else could be blocking, unless it is another program running in the background.  I have recently spent 6 hours trying to resolve a problem where a program installed on a computer just wouldn't work, and I tested it on another computer and it worked fine.  I turned off and installed in safemode, and he still wouldn't run on this computer.  I told my friend that computer, it is that the only thing left that I could think of to try to uninstall the anti-virus software (which will move without a name) and see if it would make a difference (I had already turned off all its services) and of course the program executed instantly as soon as the machine was gone.  So I put MSE (www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/) about it, and gave it to my friend.  The moral of this story is that the running software can interact with windows to break and sometimes the only way to identify the culprit is to get rid of all works we can imagine.

  Windows doesn't know it should start to Firefox to open these links.
  Try this first. Launch IE (yes I know) and set it as the default browser. After
  Close IE. Wait a few moments, then launch Firefox. Then set FF as a default.
