  We use Acrobat 10 Pro / LiveCycle Designer to create our form fill-able to then publish on our Web site.  Our users can click the form on our Web page, the PDF opens in Chrome very well and they can fill in the fields.  But when a user tries to click hyperlinks, the hand does not turn into finger, which allows you to click on the link and go to the Web page.  When you look at the properties of this PDF file, I can see there are restrictions.  I just want to allow my customers to click on hypertext links.  Don't forget, they use Chrome Chrome PDF Viewer by default.  In addition, many of our internal users do not use Adobe to view/edit a PDF file.  Their PDF Viewer by default if eCopy or PowerPDF, so when they open the form in these applications, the hyperlinks don't work or the other.  Hyperlinks work only if I open with Adobe.

  Also, I saw a security restriction in the properties of the document where is said can only be opened with Acrobat.

  Is there any way to change this?

  We say to all our customers that official Adobe products are required to view and use the forms correctly. We cannot guarantee that applications work as expected otherwise. We had a LOT of problems with clients (or trying to open) opening forms outside of Adobe, and they will never work quite right. Mind you, we almost exclusively use dynamic forms.

  Hyperlinks open in the in-app browser, which will not work. Try to create a button, not a hyperlink. In the overlays Panel, set the button to view it in an external browser. See if it works.

  You want to display the content of a user variable in a text caption? Or you want to change this variable first and then display it?

  Since I bought the Pro Surface over a month, I was not able to get hyperlinks in emails that I get to work (be clickable and automatically open the browser to the linked web page). These same e-mail containing hyperlinks open on any other e-mail software, including my first gen iPad mail app work without problem. It is very annoying having to select (in particular with the finger), copy, open the browser, tap the address bar, paste the link and finally press go to access the page.

  How can I get hyperlinks to work on the Windows 8 messaging application?

  We start with two questions:

  1. what happens when you try to open the hyperlink in mail, any error?

  2. have you tried to open the hyperlink of Internet Explorer?

  Follow the following troubleshooting methods:

  Method 1:

  I suggest you to set Internet Explorer as the browser by default and then check how it works.

  Recently, I installed a new hard drive in my MacBook. I used the possibility of installing fresh copies of everything. I use the latest version of Flash, v11.7.700.225. I uninstalled both Flash and Firefox and reinstalled them. I've scoured all websites support Mozilla, the web site of Adobe and I googled the problem and only found a suggestion to reinstall everything I've tried. PBS website works fine in Safari and Chrome. To be honest, I'm tired of Flash and Firefox slowness problems. I have to restart Firefox often. Is there anyone who knows how to fix Firefox and Flash?

  I have a RAID 5 drive connected to my MACPRO (MacPro5, 1), OSX 10.9.2. His work correctly on the BONE.   When we create an interactive pdf in inDesign CC 2014, the e-mail link does not time the 'topic' and 'to' when the client opens in a browser view. Works fine when downloaded and opened in Acrobat, but most customers will use the browser method. How does one solve this problem when making the PDF, or, how does one prevent the PDF to open in a browser? There was once a "prevents the opening in the browser" in earlier versions of Acrobat, but it isn't here in xi Acrobat. Thank you, in advance!

  You can solve by the PDF, that so fine because in Acrobat, then the link is OK. You also can not prevent to open in the browser, because the browser manages how to open a PDF file. PDF included browser readers can be turned off or there are (probably) settings always open the PDF file in an external application (Adobe Reader, etc.).

  However, I also create PDF files of in Indesign (although non-interactive ones), which include hyperlinks for e-mail, and put it on our Web site. If I use Chrome and click any PDF link, it opens in the browser and hovering over an e-mail address reveals the mailto: link (subject not included, is not serious in any way) and a click opens my mail client. Works perfectly.

After I export the file to an interactive PDF and SWF (include html) respectively, I noticed that these links are functional in the interactive PDF, but not in the html file.  I have it in the html file, because I want the page turn (rollover) effect, which can be achieved only in the swf or html file. Is anyone know how hyperlinks work in html file?
