You can install the software on as many computers as you wish, Mac or PC.
However, you can activate the software to be used on up to two computers at the same time (via help > connect / disconnect)

I bought the student and teacher of cloud on August 17 online edition, but I'm still waiting. The receipt of the order immediately got in my email box. I checked my account > my plan > product: nothing showed. I tried to disconnect and connect from Adobe Creative cloud on my desk: nothing has changed, the products are available, but still on sale.

I had PhotoShop CS6 trial, which has expired.
I bought the student edition creative cloud, I get a message that my PhotoShop trial has expired.
I'm invited to buy the product to extend it, or type the serial number of the product
(I never got a serial number).
I paid for creative cloud and have an order number, I shouldn't have this problem.

You probably need to reset the licnesing info. See you back on track:

Manually delete the PCD and SLStore files, and then check license again after you have connected to CCM.
