I bought windows 8 pro discs, then my computer is dead, I can install it on the new computer of windows 8 and how do I do this?
Also, what is the difference between the pro version and the Windows 8.1 update? I'm not a pro like you old guys, simple answers would be really appreciated, thanks.
Hello
Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft community!
- Yes, you can re - install Windows 8 on a different computer. Before you re-install in another computer, please make sure that you remove Windows 8 to the computer that you have already installed software license terms Microsoft lets a copy must be installed on one computer only.
To remove Windows 8 of the current computer, you must perform a clean installation of Windows 8. Install with previous operating system drive (Windows 7\ Vista\XP). This removes Windows 8 in the current computer and install the previous operating system.
Note: You may lose all your data when you perform a new installation, so please back up all data before installing the previous operating system.
Once you have removed Windows 8 from the current computer, download Windows 8 in the new computer and install. When installing, please provide the same license key that you used during your first installation of Windows 8. You can also find this key in the purchase confirmation email that you received. - As your second question, Windows 8.1 will be a free update for users of Windows 8. Which means, you must have a version of Windows 8 in order to install Windows 8.1. Windows 8.1 brings updates for the Windows 8 Pro(or any other Windows 8 version). See the following links to learn more about Windows 8.1:

I have to install my Adobe Acrobat Pro on Mac (from previous Windows PC), so how do I do this?
It depends on which version of Acrobat, it is. Your license is valid only for the platform for which it was obtained. If it is older than the latest version then it is not a lot that can be done given that platform swaps are supported only for the latest version under license. If the time CS6 products, you may be able to request the Exchange...
Product change or the language platform

I just bought a macbook pro 13 ", however it has no ethernet port, have I need to buy a device of air port and what one do need me?
Your MacBook Pro has built in WiFi.
Wi - Fi
802.11ac wireless Wi - Fi network; IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n compatible
It is the best way to connect. You will need a router if you don't already have one.
If you want to use ethernet wire you can use this cable. ter http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD463LL/A/thunderbolt-to-gigabit-ethernet-adap? fnode = 8 b See the following link for more useful information if you are new to Mac.

original title: remote assistance
My brother bought window 7 and I use XP. What do we have to do for me to control his computer from my XP, so I can help or fix the errors.
all you need is an application called "Remote Desktop Connection", it comes pre-installed in windows 7, if you have windows XP home, you can't get the remote desktop, but if you upgrade to XP Professional you can.

I bought adobe cc of my student account and installed. Then my computer broke down and I bought a new one. Do not know how to install cc on the new computer. The redemption code cannot be used and the campus web allow me to make another payment within 1 year in term aid.
I'll appreciate any help!
The Adobe ID here in the forums have no CC registered to it, you can activate the CC to your Adobe ID twice. in case you have activated it twice, you have to disable among the previous machine or the third machine will give you the ability to disable from all the previous machine.

original title: operating systemMy old laptop has ceased to exist. How can I get permission to install operating system on a new PC? I provided with the old laptop installation discs, but permission to install them on the new PC is denied.
If the installation provided with your Windows computer discs was preinstalled on the computer - it is OEM and cannot be moved. You can move Windows to another computer if you buy the retail version.
You can move the windows on a new computer
If it's a full license or upgrade retail - Yes. You can move it to another computer as long as it is installed on one computer at a time (and if it's a version upgrade the new Windows computer must have its own license of qualification). The previous Windows installation on your old computer must be formatted or deleted. You will have to perhaps call Microsoft and explain what happened to complete activation. Turning it on the second computer will automatically be in effect 'disable' the license for the first computer.
If it's an OEM license - don't. OEM licenses, including Windows preinstalled on a computer before purchase and Windows purchased separately, are related to the first computer, they are installed on and cannot be transferred to another computer. To install Windows on another computer, you will need to buy another copy.

MY DELL LATITUDE D610 HOW CAN I UPGRADE TO THE NEW VERSION OF WINDOWS? NOW IT IS WINDOWS 7, WHAT VERSION IS SUPPORT FOR USE WELL ON MY DEVICE? PLEASE HELP ME
Read this: upgrade Windows 10 Dell Latitude D610
Take a look at my answer, complete instructions.
Basically speaking, Dell officially supports Windows 2000 and Windows XP on Dell Latitude D610 (and other models of Dx10).
However it can really run Windows Vista and 7 at least, as long as you max out the RAM (2 GB, 2 x 1 GB, can be purchased at a great price in eBay) and install the drivers, in particular graphics drivers, look in Device Manager and see what drivers are needed manually.
If you're lucky to have a D610 with ATi graphics card then you can even run Windows 8 and 10 with all drivers available, and I can tell you that it won't be slow dog not unlike a lot of people say, I don't have something similar (a HP Compaq nx8220) in common use. Keep as lean as possible (not bloatwares, anti-virus etc.) system, and it will serve you well.

Yes you can install it on your new Macintosh. If it doesn't have an optical drive, you can copy the contents of the installation media to a USB drive and then install the software from there.
