I can improve a Photomerge Panorama

I created a panorama.  Now, I want to bump the contrast and the saturation a bit.  All the items in the dropdown of Enhance are gray.  Is it not possible to improve a panorama?

John

With the help of PSE 7.

Normally after the photomerge panorama all layers will be chosen as below, and that's why the points to improve are grey.

You can merge these layers into a new layer by pressing Shift + Ctrl + Alt + E, and then either use strengthen it menu items or adjustment layers.

  • Photomerge panorama PS elements 14 does not work?

I can't make photomerge panorama. This is THE function I use in Photoshop Elements, so I'm a little disappointed now...

I use PSE in expert mode. I miss the option I had in previous editions (file-> new-> fusion). Where can I find the photomerge panorama in expert mode option?

In mode "instruction", I found the panorama feature but here it does not work. When I select some pictures they don't sting. I get the message "documenten like worden fast f ze worden combined service", which means that I have to save files before they can be merged. The video is for previous versions of items...

14 elements, photomerge options have been moved to the mode "guided edit' instead of the 'Expert '.

On the menu bar, you have the Photomerge option on the right. When selected, you will see the icon large panorama.

Otherwise, you can always start the Photomerge panorama feature in the menu ' Edit > Photomerge' in the Organizer.

  • Version of Photoshop elements Windows 14 - error when you try to create a Photomerge Panorama "documents must be registered before they can be merged. I tried a few of the fixes mentioned in these forums such as Edit-> Preferences-> general-> res

We know the fix for the bug "documents must be registered before they can be merged" when you try to create a Photomerge Panorama in PSE 14?

I think I have found workarounds to the question "documents must be registered before they can be merged" (no thank you lack of Adobe customer support):

    Solution #1

My workflow template is to take pictures with my SLR and save on the memory in the form of RAW files, download the images on my PC, then open the RAW files in Adobe Camera Raw and then save the images to jpeg using PSE. I wasn't able to create Photomerge Panorama with jpeg images I've saved, but I was able to create Photomerge Panorama with the images I have saved IF I save as TIFF 8-bit files in EPS. A condition for this workaround was that I had to save the pictures at their original resolution and not at a reduced resolution.

    Solution #2

If I have a right-click on an image and selected open with 14 and observed PES Editor (RGB/8) * to the right of the file changes its name, which means PSE think he has not saved to the file. The solution is to go to file-> Save-> Save (replace existing file-Yes)-> OK. You can then use this file and others you perform the same steps to create a Photomerge Panorama.

    Solution #3

The way to save JPEG files in PSE is to go to file-> save for Web-> Save-> Save. The workaround is to select the file-> save for the Web and then check the box include the color profile , then click on save and then save again. Then I'm able to merge JPEG files using Photomerge Panorama and I don't get the error message "Documents must be registered before they can be merged". I looked back 11 of PSE that is still on my PC and found that the Embed checkbox color profile did NOT have to be checked to get Photomerge to work for jpeg files. So it appears with PSE 14 Adobe changed the Photomerge Panorama script to require the image file the color profile embedded in the image. If the color profile is not embedded, PSE think the image file has unsaved changes. BTW, this bug, or "feature" has not changed with PSE 14.1.

  • Why you need to save the images in photomerge panorama?

    Hello.

I don't understand why with the new version of the Photomerge panorama when I select "create panorama" the program asks me to save the images prior to their merger.

In addition I don' t understand what foto I must record and in which format?  (all the? in JPG? in PSD?)

Even after doing this (Save ALL images to merge as a JPG-copy) I can't go forward.

Thank you to anyone to help me.

After my post, I read that you need to open the images, export them (with mutiple of edit function) to a separate folder, and then from the p.panorama with the 'new' images. It worked, but I guess why it can't be fixed by Adobe. It is an unnecessary extra work.

    See this other post.

Panoramas - Error Message: the Documents must be registered before they can be merged

The problem only arises with the images in a vertical position.

It didn't happen with older versions of items, so I don't think that it can not be solved.

You don't have any extra work if you work from the organizer and you export your files to the correct resolution.

  • I can't create a panorama in PSE 14.1.

I get the message that it "must be registered before they can be merged" and me can't go.  I tried a number of 'solutions' and nothing works.  It wasn't a problem with 14. but I updated this morning at 14.1.  Is it possible to go back to 14?

The problem of tags of orientation in the exif metadata section isn't obvious.

If you have time to spare, just google "tag exif orientation."

You will discover that most of the cameras can store a tag to indicate how the image should be considered. You will also discover that not all software can make use of this tag. Some will be remove without warning. A photo with its label of orientation can be turned just by changing the label. Or the pixels 'adjustable' directly so that you don't need the tag. This can be done without loss or not...

And that is our problem. In your library, we have files "portrait" with "rotation" pixels or changes "orientation tags.

When you view these files in the organizer and editor, you do not see the difference, both types are displayed correctly.

But we can understand that a sewing program should compare the pixels in the same orientation. This means 'turn' the pixels themselves, in other words, rewrite file. In other versions, this step seems to have been made by the photomerge process itself without the need for the user to do. This isn't really something new with PSE14, I remember the same message in older versions of items, can't remember which.

Turning the pixels themselves just requires opening and saving the file on the original or export a new version.

This message is intended to provide a way to find which files are pixel-turned and tag-turned.

I will only use the organizer and editor.

In the Organizer, you can select your candidates for use in a photomerge panorama and assign a keyword or put in an album.

You can also use the 'search details, metadata' to find the files with "portrait".

Keep right on 'Information' instead of tags panel and let the third section in the metadata (camera (exif) data) is displayed. You will find orientation just below the pixel dimensions. If the image is only rotated by tag, you will see a '90' orientation or (-90).

These photos must absolutely be 'saved', which is open and saved.

(You can also use the file > information > data in the editor to find if such a label has been attributed to an image of the camera.)

In my test, all files with tags of orientation portrait must be saved in PSE14 for Photomerge. The other files "portrait" work very well.

Is it the same for you?

  • Photomerge panorama to elements 7 problem, please help

Hello, I have difficulties to make a panorama, photomerge with elements 7.  Here's how I go about it:

I have 3 files saved in JPEG I want to stitch. I open a file from its location in my images, reduce it, then do the same for the two next photos.  I do it in the order of the left photo, the center of the image, right image. Using the small pane at the bottom of the window elements, I hold down the ctrl key and click on each of the three pictures open to select.   Can I go to file and select new, photomerge panorama. A window opens to a new photomerge panorama, but nothing appears staggered behind him--not new empty file screen or winows ocntaining my files open as I saw in the tutorials). I leave it on automatic and click Add open files. All three titles are displayed in the window. Then I click OK. Nothing happens. There is no new file window so he could create a panorama. I do not receive an error messages. Nothing, as if I had no control. Can someone tell me how to fix what I do to make it work?

    Thank you

I open a file from its location in my images, reduce it, then do the same for the two next photos.

The Panorama merge seems to be slightly different at the start of the Organizer, which is the case in the tutorial.  When it runs directly from the Publisher, all files should be opened in the area of work, rather than in the location of the project.  Yours are in the project bin because you minimized the.  Not to minimize the files and try again the merger.

  • Change of modem can improve the speed of Airport Express Extender?

My router is a Airport Extreme 6th Gen.

When Wi - Fi and close this Airport Extreme base station, I get average speeds of:

117 Mbps down and > 11 Mbps upward

At the opposite end of the House, I use a wireless extension: Airport Express 1 St gen - model A1264 (MB32 1LL/A)

Here, the download speed goes up to 14mbps

Download speed rest > 11 Mbps

My ISP will not have my current cable modem: 6580 Motorola (jumpered to disable router) to provide speeds greater than 100/10 (though even I can actually slightly higher than average, I have indicate above).

If I replaced the modem with my ISP (Time Warner Cable) provisions for 200/20Mbps (speeds I pay in fact) - and * if * I got then that 100 Mbps speed increase (wireless) when close to my Airport Extreme base station (and I think I'll) - should I then expect to see a significant speed increase at the opposite end of the House , where I rely on the Airport Express wireless extension?

In other words, is expected to double the speed of my modem now gives me wireless (when you're on my Apple Extreme base station) also be reflected in an increase in speed at the end of the House where I must rely on the Express Extender 1 generation and where I am now only download speeds see 14Mbps?

    BTW:

    1. I can not move my extreme or my Express.  They both must stay exactly where they are. Neither can they cannot be permanently interconnected via ethernet cable.

    2. I don't think the speed reduction I describe is a bandwidth issue because I am the only one on the network and do not have multiple downloads on several devices at the same time.

Before I ring $$$ on a modem that won't improve my speed, you will appreciate any guidance I where I need more.

Change of modem can improve the speed of AirPort Express Extender?

Just a little, at best. The Express pourrait spend 25-30 Mbps. No guarantee, with strangeness wireless... it is maybe the same or worse based on my experiences.

If you need more speed at the end of the House... the AirPort Express must be located to half way between the AirPort Extreme and the end of the House. Ideally, he would have line-of-sight with AirPort Extreme.

Yet, you say that you can not move the Express or the extreme and can't get the Ethernet cable. Have you considered or tried Powerline Ethernet adapters?
