Do not open the JPEG files recovered...
I have quick formatted my E drive. Then I restored data with software. But do not open the JPEG files recovered.
The size of the file is the same. But when I try to open the error "invalid image". I tried almost all viewers but the problem is the same.
How can I open these JPEG files...?
Help, please...
Thank you
You can try the JPEG recovery tool, it might be useful. This is normally due to the change in the location of the file once you retrieve the data.

Easy transfer gets "Can not open the file" after update from XP to 7
In Windows XP Sp3, I created the Windows Easy Transfer file on a USB - I see it. I did the Custom installation of Windows 7 that seems successful. When I try to access my data using file transfer, the program will not open the file, although he sees there. Is there a way to retrieve this file?
I saw similar posts but have not found one with an answer yet.
Thank youAgrivated after myself, I found the problem. And it's simple! I hope it works for everyone, always in need of response. So I upgraded to Win Xp 32 bit to 7 64 bit. I had a 39 + GB Easy Transfer file. I was getting the same error, «...» "Cannot open a file... "Well, to solve this problem, I opened the Transfer Wizard, thenm go through your files, using the options"Advanced"and my limited to a size of transfer to 2 GB or less. It could be a tedious job, but it should work for you, as it did for me. You can experiment a bit more with the measures, but I've just stuck with 2 GB and was fine. Good luck to you all

Sprity...spirty,
This sounds like it could also be a permissions problem. I'm guessing that when you copy-n-Paste the form on the LINUX Server, you did what Windows Explorer. When they are copied to the server LINUX file will be created with the default privileges defined on the file. I recommend that you connect to the LINUX Server and check the permissions on the file. If your file permissions do not match the permissions of the text.fmb (or other files .fmb you have there) I suggest that you change the permissions so that they match.I hope this helps.

When I try to install Firefox, I get an error "could not open the output file. I used Firefox before and it doesn't work anymore, so I uninstalled. Cannot re - install now.
This has happened
Each time Firefox opened
I tried to download firefox.
User Agent
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; INTERNET EXPLORER 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; AntivirXP08; GTB6.3; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; MS - RTC LM 8)
When you click on the download link on GetFirefox.com, you should be asked if you want to run or save the file. If this situation occurs when you try to run the download, try instead to record and put the file on your desktop or in a similar place, where you are certain that you can find.
When the download is complete, try double-clicking on the downloaded file in the normal Windows Explorer (browse your way to the file from the desktop). This should start the installation.
If, in the Explorer window, you notice that the file seems to be missing the Firefox icon orange/blue, right click the file and select Properties. The image should look like the attached picture (except that mine is in Danish, but that is irrelevant) if saved correctly - if it don't look like this, would you please describe the content or attach a screenshot of the box. Especially what it says under "File Type" - it must be 'program '. If this isn't the case, will have to focus on what could be the problem here.
A bit off-topic, your Internet Explorer seems to be quite a bit outdated (IE 6, where the current version is IE 8), so I highly recommend that you try to run Windows Update to get your system up to date. Is it as a society (such as a thin client Terminal Server computer) system, this is not possible, and most likely, your system administrator will have to help you.

My Windows Media Player does not open the .tgz files
Hello
1. what happens when you try to open the .tgz files?

I've attached a scan to an email, but it says "could not open the file C:\users\My Windows\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows |" Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\TQDLSO1A\etc, etc.
I'm probably not explaining my problem fairly - well, I scanned something in - I used Nuance Paperport. I have it attached to an email and sent to six people - including myself. I always open the attached file to make sure that the computer has sent the right thing. When I tried to open the attachment I got the message "cannot open the file - I have already sent you." I think that Norton Security got rid of the file I need. I think I will contact them. I tried to contact Nuance - but alas, my warranty has expired, so no help there unless I want to pay for it. If I can't have the problem solved through Norton, I will contact you again. Thank you very much for taking the time to try to help me. Have a great Thanksgiving action!
================================================
Your explanation was nice... that was my answer that failed.I was hoping that you would simply copy the scan of your temporary
Internet files folder and paste it on your desktop. Then you might
evaluate what is the problem. I thought that trying to open
with such a long way email could be a problem. And also... it's possible
be a file association problem. And it could be a matter of file size.I understand that you care why the attachment to the email
failure and I think you need to find what is the problem with the scan
before fastening will be successful. -
Window Live Mail does not open the wmv files.
Window Live Mail does not open the wmv files. It comes up with an error that says: (wrong parameters). Also gives the path that looks all wrong. How can I change these settings?
If I save the wmv on my desktop it will open, so I think that the file association is OK.
1. download and save the attachment to the office.
2. right click on the saved file.
3. Select: Open with on the shortcut menu.
4. click on: choose [default] program.
5. Select: Windows Media Player.
6. check: always use the selected program to open this type of file.
7. click on OK. -

onfig file error cannot open file row 0 column 0 - whenever I try to open my hp game console... I get this error message...
Hello
Was the HP works well before game console? If Yes, then do you remember any hardware/software changes, after which the problem started?
Method 1: I would say you put the computer to boot and then check if the problem is caused by any third-party application.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.
Method 2: I would say as you uninstall and reinstall the HP game console and check to see if it helps:

XmlDataModel could not open the file
Hello
I can't seem to understand how to fix this (attention: XmlDataModel could not open the file "... /..") /.. (' / data / model.xml ').
what I have is the following,
generate an XML file using the QXmlStreamWriter and after you have created the file (confirmed that the file exist) create a new XmlDataModel
// modelfile is define in the h file like QFile *modelfile; modelfile = new QFile("data/model.xml"); QXmlStreamWriter* xmlWriter = new QXmlStreamWriter(); xmlWriter->setDevice(modelfile); // do the xml write stuff modelfile->flush(); modelfile->close(); XmlDataModel *dataModel = new XmlDataModel();dataModel->setSource(QUrl("../../../data/model.xml"));//dataModel->setSource(QUrl("modelx.xml")); << file in the asset folder to check if this works ( and this works )listview->setDataModel(dataModel);
THX,
Xtravanta
Found the solution:
dataModel-> setSource (QUrl::fromLocalFile(QDir::homePath() + "model.xml"));
