I can not open. MYT files

I tried to open a. Windows and the file MYT says that it cannot open it.

Vista doesn't have a file association for that file type.  You must add a program that is capable of reading/opening/with the help of this file type.

This file extension. MVT is associated with MyTraffic X AI Aircraft Traffic Database File (BK & simMarket.com). MYT file type is primarily associated with 'MyTraffic X' by BK & simMarket.com. MyTraffic X works with Microsoft Flight Simulator X. By design, it is built to support the latest FSX has to offer, as gateways of mooring to the aircraft or baggage carts and vehicles maintenance.  Here is more information on MyTraffic, including a current verrsion of the program it says is compatible with Vista: http://secure.simmarket.com/b.-renk-mytraffic-x-pro.phtml.  You need a program that is installed on your system that can read this type of file - such as those mentioned above and perhaps others (although I can't find information on it).

Where do you have it?  Ask the source what program created the file and what program can be used to read the file.

Good luck! Lorien - MCSA/MCSE/network + / A +.

    spirty,
This sounds like it could also be a permissions problem. I'm guessing that when you copy-n-Paste the form on the LINUX Server, you did what Windows Explorer. When they are copied to the server LINUX file will be created with the default privileges defined on the file. I recommend that you connect to the LINUX Server and check the permissions on the file. If your file permissions do not match the permissions of the text.fmb (or other files .fmb you have there) I suggest that you change the permissions so that they match.

    I hope this helps.

  • I can not open zip files!

I had this problem since day 1.  Whenever I get a zip file, Vista will not open the file instead, he associated with Internet Explorer and sends the computer into a loop of windows which can only be stopped by stopping turn signals.  If I associate the file with any other program, it opens not and goves me a message that the content is unreadable.  I do not get an option to "extract files".

    Help!

    Bschum

Go to: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/06/22/reset-and-fix-broken-windows-vista-file-ext-and-type-associations-include-exe-com-sys-zip-lnk-folder-drive/ and scroll down to the ZIP entry and click or double-click on it to launch the association of Zip files repair.  Then restart.  Zip files should now behave as usual.  You will still be able to use 7 - Zip instead of Vista if that is your choice.  All you have to do is change the file association by default for the ZIP files to 7-ZIP inntead of Vista.

If you have this problem withall the speed of your program, Diecut for entry EXE click or double-ICCT top to run the EXE file association repair.  This should solve the problem of all programs to open under internet explore (if that is the case - I'm not sure I quite understand your situation).

If the programs are open OK but the problem is that all the icons are all the internet Explorer icons, then perform a rebuild of the cache icon as follows:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/117229-icon-cache-rebuild.html.

    I hope this helps.

  • I can not open raw files three of Adobe Camera Raw to Nik Efex

Something strange happening never happened before.  I used to be on CS6 but now am on CC with the latest Adobe Camera Raw.  I used to be able to select three photos in camera raw, then click on tools and then I see my Nik Efex plugins and pick the one I wanted.  But I see now is Photoshop under tools at the bottom as an available option to open files.

How can I open three files in HDR Efex Nik of Camera Raw?  Is there something wrong here or am I just not doing things right.  It seems that I did this before and now I can't.

It should be listed under Google, because they bought Nik.

Hello, after I did a clean reinstall of Win xp Pro, I have a Moose file under my documents that I can't open.

The file was created on 26/07/2010, when I try to open it, I get the message "Access denied" and it can be write-protected. The file was not encrypted when originally made.

I also tried dragging it to a shared folder, but the same message.

How to access this file, perhaps using DOS commands?

  • copy my files and once completed they were in zip files, now I can not open zip files, I use vista bussiness... Thank you.

make backup of my files aand ordibary copy in zip files, they now need to open and I get message cannot open files, etc.

You must use the restore backup procedure to restore individual files of access - you can not access it just directly from the backup (even if it's possible with 3rd party software - you can check Bing, Google,www.tucows.com and www.download.com).  If you made a backup of the complete picture, you should definitely 3rd party software even be able to do as you cannot access the individual with restore files (only if doing a restore completes).

Here is an article on the restore procedure:http://www.vista4beginners.com/How-to-restore-files to make sure you do this right.  It's a selective restore of a full or selective backup (not a full restore from a full backup)...

This is a GREAT article on the backup and restore processes in Vista http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2007.09.backup.aspx , but he won't go into detail about the restoration process - considering almost as easy, of course.  But it teaches you a lot about what is possible and how to do it.  It also focuses primarily on the full backup process, but he did mention the full backup and restore process as well.

Here is an article on the advanced use of restoration (during normal restore does not work):http://www.mayankraichura.com/post/2009/08/06/Avdvanced-Restore-via-Windows-Vista-Backup-and-Restore-Center.aspx.

I also found the following (but don't know if it of true or not):

    1. after the start of "backup and Restore Center."

    2. I chose "Advanced Restore"

    3. I was did not an administrator password... maybe because my account is an administrator account.

4 choose "files from a backup made on a different computer.

    5. in the dialog box indicating "Select the location of the backup to restore", select "hard drive, CD or DVD...". »

    6. under the drop-down list box, select your drive/partition and continue

    7. If all the backups on your drive, it will show a list of them.

    8. in my case, he showed a backup, but in the backup location, it will show "backup location is not available."

    9. I was frustrated, but then I somehow just select this backup (Yes... even if he said that thebackup location is not available " ")

    10. and you press "next".

    11 guess what... no error!

    12. a window appeared asking me if I wanted to do a full restore, or I want to select specific folders or files.

    13. I selected the folders I wanted to restore and bingo... it their restored smoothly.

    14. so that the next time see a mistake, try to continue with him... ;)

I don't know if this will help, but it does not provide much information about the process (when it works).

    I hope this helps.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not open .doc files transferred on my BB Curve 8520

I am a new user and just bought a BB Curve 8520. Carrier is Virgin Media; Operating system is V4.6.1.314 (Platform 4.2.0.135); Desktop Manager Version is 5.0.1.2.8

I transferred photos, music and a few documents from my PC to my BB using Desktop Manager successfully. However some .doc files transfer, but I can't open them on the BB. I get an error message indicating that a file cannot be opened because it is an RTF file. I also noticed that when I start to transfer the files, the small window that opens does not me the possibility to convert - it is grayed out. • My colleagues can not open my files XD. 'Document type not valid.' error.

I get an error similar to https://forums.adobe.com/message/8612177 , except that it is not serious what I name it or put the file, it works fine for me. The problem is that colleagues regularly get this error trying to open the files that I hit. We all have all the updates, uninstalled and reinstalled, the works. My colleague even sent me a file XD which worked well for him, and then I opened, brought no change, saved and sent again and it no longer works. What's still happening?

    Thank you!

    Screen Shot 2016-06-23 at 2.24.36 PM.png

What version of Adobe XD you have, and what version of Adobe XD your collaborator were they?  If you are still on version "Preview 3", you can see this error message when you try to open a file created in the most recent version "Preview 4".  (In the future, you will see a clearer error message in this situation).

If you are on an older version, I encourage you to upgrade to extract 4 - which was released a week ago – and see if that helps.

If this isn't the case, please let us know and we can try to dig what else might happen.

  • FixIt can not open PDF files

I can't open PDFs in Firefox - I get a gray screen stating "this plugin is vulnerable and needs to be updated". I go to updates for Fixit and the link takes me to things that I don't understand. I've been using Foxit Reader and this is my default player. I have no problem with Internet Explorer it works very well, it's just with Firefox which I prefer by far apart from this problem.
I changed FixIt as my AVG Free software was telling me there is a problem with Adobe Reader XI (11.0.01) and so I got feed with it I deleted Adobe from my computer
I had several suggestions to support Foxit, but nothing seems to work.
I have reset Firefox by default given parameters always get the same message.
    Help, please

Hi - Thanks for that - I just did a reinstall of Fixit as you mentioned, and the problem is always the same.
I want to emphasize that I had five support proposals Fixit (yours being a) that I made and still the same problem. They're still trying to get out.
I checked the internet and it seems I'm not the only one, but nobody seems to have the answer. Which makes me wonder if it could be a setting on the computer. But then why is there a problem with IE.
