  Display the port number in the error message do not put you to any security risk. It is not specific to the user, this is the type of account. All POP3 users use the same ports. All uses of the IMAP use the same ports.

  Windows Live Mail help is in this forum, but you get no e generic response without the full error message.

  To change the setting of cookie

Gmail is not too bad, but roadrunner.com is too: click on the internet (chrome or IE), enter the address of roadrunner, enter the email address and password and finally move on to serious things.

  Why not just install a Windows Live Mail or Thunderbird e-mail client?

  To connect to your e-mail configuration application, you have the same login information that you would use to connect to the website of your provider wireless BlackBerry Internet Service from a computer. Since you are using BlackBerry Device Software 6.0, it is separated from your BlackBerry ID. If you do not know your account details, I suggest to contact your service provider for this information again.

  Hello. Yes, you can turn off your email account. In the main menu go to e-mail settings. The email accounts you have at the top. Highlight the one you want to turn off and display the menu. Select the filter option. Then you can dissable the option to receive; Tap Save. You will be asked to enter the password for the accounts. When you want to receive again, just reverse the process.   I noticed that this Web site has installed a cookie on my computer called "_rememberme" that contains the user name plaguing me.
