  Thank you for your project, including - it shows me that you are using LabVIEW 2015, which means that you have the Report Generation Toolkit, with the ability to easily generate Excel "Reports", available.

  If you really want to generate Excel (.xls, .xlsx) files, the GTA is, by far, the best way to do.  If you go to the search bar in the Forums of LabVIEW and type "Example revised" - the first 'hit' should be a post of two years of mine where I show how to use the GTA to more or less do what you described.  Give it a try with some of your data, and come back if you have any other questions.

  HP Pavilion dm1 computer running windows 7 64 bit with Radeon HD graphics card laptop. Recently upgraded to 8 GB with 3.7 GB of usable memory.

  I have several very large files with more 150 000 lines in each excel file. Need to combine these 3-4 files and sort. Research to maximize the availability of memory.  The Task Manager is total view Mo 3578, available - 1591 MB, cache - 1598. Free 55MO.  A single instance of Chrome and Excel 2014 without worksheet are running.

  You can do this by using Apache POI.

• Slow opening Excel file with MACRO and links from network on the Desktop view file server compare to physical PC

  I just encountered a very strange problem when you open one of the excel files located on a Linux Samba Shared running file server.

  My laptop physics has a Dual Core 2 Duo 2.27 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and Windows 7 Pro 32-bit.

  My Desktop view has 2 vCPU (UC from host to 2.99 GHz/Core with base 16), 4 GB of RAM and Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit.

  Note: The Desktop view is located on the FusionIO card locally on the server, so it is lightning fast.

  When I open excel file from my physical office, need you 3 seconds to open and 5 seconds to enable the content (because it is a big xls file with a bunch of MACRO and LINKS to a different worksheet)

  When I opened that same excel view Desktop file, it takes you 18 seconds to open and 1 minute to activate the content.

• Error when downloading files with Firefox 33

  in our society, we all use firefox (various versions) use our CRM (SugarCRM).

  I think I see where the confusion is.  Looks like your trip data do not come directly from a sensor (LVDT, etc.), but from the control software.  If this is the case, you're stuck sort with a timing of software, that will not sync at all.  Still not really sure what the entire Setup is - but if you do not have access to data of travel other than VI control that drives the actuator, you have limited options.  It depends on where these data comes from and how it is treated.  My initial comment assumed medium of moving a sensor in another Board (Non-OR).

  You can absolutely use a shift register data (or the node property history given in the table of waveform - as someone else suggested) to save the data in the file.  Use the entry in the File.vi worksheet.  There are examples that show how to do this.

  I would start by trying to start the process (movement and data acquisition) as close to simultaneously as possible, let them operate independently, but at the same time, then after you have some data you can see if they are synchornized well enough for your application.  If you put them both in the same loop with while avoiding (wait ms) you will get incoherently timed data of these two sets of data.  Better to use examples of hardware when clock you can.  If your test article moves very slowly, it may not matter how you do it.  If it does not quickly move, will be discussed as your data of force tip line upward with your data points in moving closer in time.

• Developer SQL v 3.0.04 fails to export large Excel files
