HP Pavilion Elite GX610AA-A2L: HP product # does not match the version of Microsoft

I tried to update the drivers etc, when I use the feature updates of research with my 'product name' he asks me so my OS.  The only option it gives me is "Microsoft Vista".  Well I have updated my OS to Win 7 a couple of years. -How can I check to see if there are updates available (drivers or other)?  I tried following the update procedure using the version of 'Microsoft Vista"OS, but I get the message -" has encountered an error, please try agin later. "  While I tried four times and I get the same message.

Someone at - it suggestions?

Sasha, welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately, the only available drivers for your computer to the HP Web site are for Vista.  What is the supplied operating system initially with the computer.  However, here are the drivers for Win 7 for another model of HP.  The components are the same as your only newer.  Try them to see if they work.  Please do NOT use the update of the BIOS, however.
