I can't delete a bookmark?
When I click on a bookmark, it will go the site very well, but it is told that I do not bookmark this page as soon as I'm here, so I can't delete the bookmark in the menu my bookmark. The star is yellow when I get on the website and it will save the bookmark as a separate page if I click on the star.
That marked a bookmark page can be redirected to a slightly different address.
You can use the Organizer to remove a bookmark from the bookmarks menu:
the orange button Firefox > bookmarks > show all bookmarks
or
Bookmarks > show all bookmarks
Does it work?

When you are in Safari and you open the bookmarks, when you see the bookmark that you want to delete, drag the bookmark to the left and you should see a red button to remove.

I can't delete a bookmark in FF v8. Is this possible?
I'm trying to delete a bookmark in FF v8 on ubuntu 11.10, but nothing seems to work. I tried the suggestion on older versions to put the bookmark in the address bar and clicking on the star & using the option delete here, but everything is remove the address bar. The bookmark is always in the bookmarks menu.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

How can I delete a bookmarks icon in my toolbar?
When I updated Firefox by restoring the default, my bookmarks in the bookmarks bar reappears with icons. I had previously removed to shorten the space that each bookmark has taken in the toolbar. Now all my favourites from the toolbar do not fit in the toolbar. I want to go back and delete the icons, but none of the customizations, properties or options have a way to do it.
This can be done through the addon remove the bookmark icons for Firefox.

How can I delete a bookmark if the star isn't blue?
There are several sites marked on my list of bookmarked on my ipad, but when I try to delete some of them, the star is not blue. If I do blue, it added the site again to my list. Then I can remove this site by clicking on the Blue Star, but the original site is still listed.
What list he do you observe? The home screen displays your bookmarks and historysites. If you see here, the page probably because it is in your browsing history.
If this is the case, try the instructions in the article Remove Top Sites of Firefox for iOS home screen

Cannot delete all bookmarks in order to import new to another pc
I imported my favorites for my netbook to my other pc so that he had the same. Unfortunately he has added to the original ones, and as it seems not to have worked, I have re done repeatedly. I now have a very long list of bookmarks repeated!
How can I delete all and re import?

Hello
Import bookmarks HTML I think adds bookmarks. A faster way would be to set up Firefox sync:
- How do I set up Sync on my computer?
- How to choose what type of information to synchronize on Firefox?
If you want to remove quickly delete all your bookmarks, you can go to the library in Firefox:
- Bookmarks
> Show all bookmarks
- Double click to open one of the sub-menus (such as the Bookmarks Toolbar), press on Ctrl + A and Remove
- Press Back (back in the upper left of this window) and repeat for the other submenus

How can I display the bookmark shortcut?
The most recent update has deleted the bookmark button in my toolbar.
Bookmark star also disappeared to the right next to my homepage of Foxfire.
When I go in the menu at the far right of the Foxfire homepage bookmark Star opens a bookmarks column that cannot be added to, sorted or edited.
There is no 'bookmark this Page' in the bookmarks column. There is instead a "change a bookmark this" which is unusable.
When I try to move a bookmark in the bookmarks column I get only a gray bar mobile but no movement of associated bookmark and I can't delete the bookmark. In Firefox current releases the menu entry 'Bookmark this Page' in the bookmarks menu changes to "Edit this bookmark" once you have bookmarked the page and the star on the Navigation bar is highlighted blue.
So do not get confused by the lack of 'Bookmark this Page' in the menu bookmarks and see "Edit this bookmark" instead if you try to bookmark a page that is already set bookmark.
Note that you no longer have the bookmarks star in the address bar, but now have a star/record button combined to bookmark the link and open the drop-down list in the bookmarks menu that has "Show all bookmarks" at the bottom of the list
In current Firefox released (29 and following), which are have a UI Australis, the orange Firefox menu button has been replaced by the three button bar of Menu of Firefox at the far right of the Navigation bar and this button is always visible, if you have the bar of menus visible or hidden
A consequence of this situation, it is that you can no longer hide the Navigation toolbar- There is a star as the button next to the search bar on the Navigation toolbar to bookmark the current web page and a "Show bookmarks" button next to it to open bookmarks in a menu drop-down.
You can find "Show all bookmarks" to open the bookmarks (library) at the bottom of the drop-down list manager - If bookmark you a page, then 'Bookmark this Page' in the bookmarks menu replaces it with "edit this bookmark".
- You bring up the title bar via the "Title bar" button at the bottom left in the palette to customize window
It is still possible to have the bar of menus visible via the menu popup of a toolbar for menus as the file menu to print (Ctrl + P) and preview before printing and the bookmarks menu available.

I enabled private browsing. It does not work, and I can't delete it.
The menu history shows all my recent history. I enabled private browsing. AND... There is no "Clear history" button in the history menu, so I can't delete it. How can I fix these two?
Private browsing does not add to your story, but it does not erase the history.
You can in history history/bookmarks library entry remove either single, multiple entries or the entire folders. There are also menu options to erase history etc. See
- Private Browsing - use Firefox without saving history
- It shows several options: remove the navigation, search and download history on Firefox
- Also the individual elements of the story can be viewed and deleted similar to bookmarks How can I delete a bookmark? _deleting-more-than-one-Bookmark-or-Folder
