I can't find the Clipboard in my Windows 7

I have Win 7 Home Premium. I can't find the Clipboard!  I have a Gateway laptop, NV57H and since the 21-9 to present it works differently. Slow, suspended and morose. I have Norton and other stuff like and running analyses do updates and try to keep on top of security issues were ongoing. Even downloaded and PAID for PC Cleaner Pro. Come on guys and girls please y at - it something else out there? I'm not the only one, not from what I see here, but in speaking also w/friends. HELP US!

Original title: Clipboard AND CE WHO IS GOING ON?

Where you are waiting to see the Clipboard?  It is not something tangable, there one under covers place in RAM where Windows puts everything that you cut or copy.  I like to think it's a little invisible Elf in the attic.  :-)  I do not understand why you think there is a problem with it.

These PC snake oil cleaners, they don't do any good, important and can hurt.  Avoid them.

I have 5 computers at home and 28 that I support, of which none have performance problems.  You can still find no reports any problem you seek because among the billions of people who have same 1% of 1 billion computers is 10 000 000.  If you do a Google search for just about anything you want, you can usually get more than 1 million hits.

Bottom line, I have no reason to believe there is a broad generic problem, as you suggest, but I'll give you some things to check.

Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.

-

You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type CMD in the search box, right-click on CMD. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.

-

Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To do that click on start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

`

When you get your system in good working condition, I invite you to back up your system up to an external hard drive and make it regular periodic updates.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

e you a list of things that you can check.

See if there is a Mozilla Firefox directory in C:\Program Files (x 86). If so and there are files in this directory, you should be able to reinstall Firefox without losing your preferences.

Also, you should be able to run it by typing "Firefox" at a DOS command prompt. If it is running, then just create icons yourself.

  • Where can I find the product key for Windows 7?

Hi - I recently bought a laptop from Dixons. Where can I find the product to start key to use microsoft 7? I can't find it anywhere.
    Help, please!

    Hello

I think that 90% of Toshiba laptops, you can find on the market come with preinstalled operating system. When you start it for the first time do NOT activate pre-installed OS. At the bottom of the laptop, you can find Windows sticker with valid license key.

Maybe you bought for laptop computer without an operating system preinstalled. In this case, you need to install own OS and use the own license key.

The question is: which model of laptop you have exactly and has your laptop comes with preinstalled operating system?

For the correct answer, please provide more relevant information.

  • Sony vio can't find the camera after installing Windows 7

The system does not find the cam into my sony vio laptop once I upgraded from vista to window7

And Sony said they supported by your hardware that is found in this system in Windows 7 and they have drivers, that you can download for everything, right?

    Looking for this, right?

Hardware support always has (probably will be always) come from the hardware manufacturer who has manufactured the product you are trying to use. Whether or not they provide the necessary software (drivers) for their device to be seen and used entirely (if at all) with a given operating system is (has always been) a decision * they * do. The manufacturer of the operating system (except if they are also hardware manufacturer) does not have this choice.

  • Can not find the file downloaded in Windows 7

I downloaded a third party application in windows 7. I did change the location on the save location. Now I don't see the application and some newspapers for the application files. Is there an equal path from Windows Vista (C:\users\\Local) to Windows 7?

    Hi xoxo.ciao,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

When you download files, Windows usually saves them in the Downloads folder which is located under your user name in the users disk folder
where Windows is installed (for example your namepersonal C:\users\). When you save the file, you can choose to save it in a different folder.
By default, some file types are saved in different folders.

A search with the name of the program you downloaded.

Search a file that you have downloaded:

  • Where can I find the product key of Windows 8

I have an asus laptop with 8 original victory. I did full format the HARD drive, now, how can receive the serial number of my windows?

Product keys for Windows 8 are integrated into THE system BIOS, there is no stickers on more with her.  The installer to win 8 should find it and use it.  If you are having problems with it not working do not you need to use the computer facilities of the manufacturer for the factory reset.  Discuss with the manufacturer.
