I can't open a backup file of favorites with json extension

I opened the LIBRARY folder in TOOLS, and click BACKUP so that I can get a copy of my favorites to transfer to another laptop.

I saved the file on the DESKTOP. It has an extension of json. Cannot open it. How can I open it. My registry is corrupt? Thank you, cp

The use of a JSON backup is to restore the file through the bookmarks manager in a Firefox profile, which will replace all current bookmarks with those of this JSON backup.

A JSON backup is a text file to the format of the object and is not very readable.

If you want a readable backup then export the Favorites to an HTML file.

Why do you want to open this file?

  • Why can't I open my backup files to my PC?

Hello! I recently did a backup of my phone using iTunes, but every time I have to browse these files, they are all a weird format that my computer does not recognize, so my question is how do I backup my files while being able to open on my PC

There is no official way to unlock iPhone save the file. The only way that you can 'use' it is to restore it to your phone via iTunes.

There are a few 3rd party applications claiming to be able to open iTunes backups but I do not recommend to use them, like playing with herself, save might be unusable when you need it. But if you really do just google 'open iPhone backup file', and I'm sure you'll find something.

    But even once, do not.

  • Could not open the backup files on a USB key

I supported some (bkf) files on a USB key with XP. I transferred these files on another computer with XP. I can not open them on the other computer with XP and I can open them on the USB key.

    Hello sherbrookeqc,

Before giving up on the .bkf files, look on the internet for the 3rd party software backup that restores the backup files in Windows XP. It could be your .bkf files are corrupted, but they may be recoverable using other sources.

However, if the files are empty they may not be not recoverable.

    Good luck.

  • I can longer open attached pdf files. I am able to preview the files, but they are too small for me to read.

    * Original title: attachments

    Help, please.

    I did something wrong (AGAIN!)

I had no problem with access to attachments to my e-mails, but a problem occurred just.

I can longer open attached pdf files.  I am able to preview the files, but they are too small for me to read.  When I click to open all the I get now is a kind of icon (in Microsoft Office Picture Manager) with which I can't do anything.

It seems I should have arranged for Picture Manager automatically opens attachments to emails, but when this happens, I'm stuck as what I try, I can't do pdf files appear as they did.

The help file does not really help.

I hope it is something simple, even an old fool like me can do with your expert (and, I hope. friendly) help.

    My fingers are crossed.

    Create a file association.

    1. download and save the attachment to the office.
    2. right click on the saved file.
    3. Select: Open with on the shortcut menu.
    4. click on: choose [default] program.
    5. Select: (Whatever you have installed a PDF reader).
    6. check: always use the selected program to open this type of file.
    7. click on OK.

This should allow you to open these attachments directly from email address now.
