File extension M2TS I can't open the video files transferred to my laptop from my brother.

I can't open the video files transferred to my laptop from my brother. The CD with his camcorder lets a user / one machine, so I can't install the program that came with it.

This is the extension M2TS, and although there are outreach programs going over there, I read on most for the DO NOT download. MS has a program or driver, or something I can use. And I need it like RIGHT NOW as I have videos that everyone in my family reunion awaits, and I leave in the morning.

Thanks a lot if you can help...!

Convert m2ts files in wmv format would be
the best bet.  The following freeware can be worth a try.

  • How can I change the video memory on a Fujitsu laptop?

Hello! I am a Fujitsu AH531 laptop user, and I'm trying to change the video memory settings in use. I have access to the BIOS, which is a Phoenix Tiano, and advanced settings to change my memory Intel HD Graphics 3000 64 MB to 128 MB could not be found. Any advice?

Intel HD3000 graphics memory is allocated dynamically. I understand that there is no real dedicated VRAM. The mfg of the portable allocates a base amount of system RAM in common with the graphical part of the processor. In your case it's 64MB, but for some, it's as little as 32 MB and other 128MB, but the end result is much the same as more system RAM is allocated according to the needs.
If there is a way to change the RAM RB you better ask on the forums of Fujitsu.

Apparently, some people use 'batch' files to help with game performance, this is something that you may want to search each game uses a different file.

  • Can not download the drivers and software for my laptop from HP site

    Hello world

When I try to download some driver and software for my HP dv3 http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=it&cc=it&dlc=it&sw_lang=&product=4217... from HP site the browser tells me who is 'impossible to start download' for most of the files. Sometimes only for a few configurations downloads starts but is too slow, about 9 kb/sec. I tried with different PC but the problem remains. I don't know if it's a question based on my computer or on the HP site. Can someone help me?

    Hi rbafkis,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using the forum, it's a great place to find answers. You have the best experience in the HP forum, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.

I understand that you are unable to download the software and drivers for your HP computer.

The HP site seems to work very well as I just downloaded on it without problem.

You are able to download from other sites?

Have you tried using another browser to download?

Have you tried running The HP Support Assistant to retrieve updates?

Have you checked your firewall and virus checker setting to make sure it is not blocked?

It could also be a firewall on your router setting.

Have you tried to download from a hotspot or maybe a friends house?

If you are unable to download the software desired, try another computer to download on a USB and then install the updates.

After installing the updates, you have the same problem?

  • I can't open the files with the extension .wmv either... I use Windows XP

When I receive files with file extension wmv I can't open them?  Why?

    Hottaye,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers community.

You use Windows Media Player to access the .wmv file? If this isn't the case, follow these steps:

    1. save the WMV file on your disk.

    2. then, right click, click on Open withand then click Choose default program.

    3. in the open with dialog box, click Windows Media Player, and then click OK.

In case you don't have it:

    Windows Media Player download

You receive an error message?  Can you play other .wmv files that you do not receive as an attachment?  In Windows Media Player, play a different file that uses the same extension of file name as the file that you were using when you received the error message. If the other file plays correctly, then you try to play the original file may be damaged.

I can't wait to hear back on your part.

  • How can I open the file ASHX on Vista 64 - bit PC

I downloaded an ASHX file on the internet and my PC Vistia 64 bit does not recognize.  How can I open the file?

    Hello

File with the extension to ASHX file is an ASP.NET Web Manager.

ASHX files are files used with the ASP.NET programming and can be opened with any program code in ASP.NET (like Microsoft Visual Web Developer). ASHX files are not intended to be read or opened by the browser. If you have downloaded a file ASHX and expecting that it contains information (such as a document or other recorded data), it is likely that something is wrong with the website and instead of generating usable information, she provided this file server instead.

You can search on the Internet a program that can open this file.

Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Important:  Take great care when opening file formats executable received in e-mail or downloaded from Web sites, that you are not familiar with as it could cause damage to your computer.

    Hi rodaks, george

Images II 7 d would be directly supported in Photoshop CS5 as requiring a new camera raw.

So, you must download the free DNG Converter to convert these images to DNG and then open the DNG converted in Photoshop.

  • Once I updated to Firefox 11, I can't open the pdf files. It's more the computer, snow leopard and lion and more than one Web site.

I've updated to Firefox 11 and now I can't open the PDFs Online. This has happened on more than 1 computer, using the two OS 10.6.8 and OS 7.0 and on more than one Web site. I tried to uncheck "block pop-up windows" in preferences, but which did not help.
When I use Safari to open the same file to pdf, they open fine. Everything worked fine with my Firefox until I did the upgrade.

I prefer to continue to use Firefox, but I can't understand the root of the problem.

Has anyone else had this happen as well?

Thank you, gentlemen, to find a "solution" to this particular behavior of Firefox. It is really curious that even if the screen is blank, you can indeed save the .pdf Ghost and then open the saved file to view. What is amazing to me is that this issue does not seem to be what makes the hit parade of the problems currently experienced Mozilla. Not everyone will be willing to do a research project extended rather than leave the ship for Safari, etc..

  • After backup files and restoring Windows XP, I can't open the files backed up.

After backup files and restoring Windows XP, I can't open the files backed up. The files are password on a user account. I know the password. But the message received when you try to open them is: access is denied. Drag / drop the files in 'Shared files' result in the same message. I know that the files exist, because when I open backup and browse for them, they are displayed. Is there a method to open? • Photo Gallery can't open the photo because you are not allowed access to the location of the file

Photo Gallery can't open the photo because you are not allowed access to the location of the file some of the image are open

Click on the folder and change your permissions for it and all subfolders and files all rights and if necessary take hand the case (and maybe the parent folder or even its parent - and all of the subfolders and files) until you have the permission you need.  Here are the general procedures to help you:

To view your permissions, right-click on the file/folder, click Properties, and check the Security tab.  Check the permissions you have by clicking on your user name (or group of users).  Here are the types of permissions, you may have: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-are-permissions.  You must be an administrator or owner to change the permissions (and sometimes, being an administrator or even an owner is not sufficient - there are ways to block access (even if a smart administrator knows these ways and can move them - but usually should not because they did not have access, usually for a very good reason).)  Here's how to change the permissions of folder under Vista: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-vista/set-file-folder-permissions-vista/.  To add take and the issuance of right of permissions and ownership in the right click menu (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/05/21/take-and-grant-full-control-permissions-and-ownership-in-windows-7-or-vista-right-click-menu/.

To resolve this problem with folders, appropriating the files or the drive (as an administrator) and give you all the rights.  Right-click on the folder/drive, click Properties, click the Security tab and click on advanced and then click the owner tab.  Click on edit, and then click the name of the person you want to give to the property (you may need to add if it is not there--or maybe yourself). If you want that it applies to subfolders and files in this folder/drive, then check the box to replace the owner of subcontainers and objects, and click OK.  Back and now there is a new owner for files and folders/player who can change the required permissions.  Here is more information on the ownership of a file or a folder: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67717-take-ownership-file.html.  To add take ownership in the menu of the right click (which will make it faster to get once it is configured), see the following article: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/.

Good luck and I hope this helps!

It is a problem of "file association".  Here is the complete list of all the "file Association" steps I've seen has proved useful before. There is no need to go beyond the stage that solved the problem, but all the "about your computer" & Microsoft controls are very well to do anyway - they would not hurt even if he did not fault.  Most people seem to go directly to the last in the list.
