  I get the same message for lots of PDF documents, I have Acrobat Reader DC and some documents were created by me using this software.  I store it on our server and then I can not re - open them.  This also applies if I receive an email with a PDF attachment.

  What version of office? until 2007, I think that security was the password based in Word but with 2010 security file requires a Windows Live ID and I would guess also examines the W7 login ID and record user's permissions.

  Are you the error if you try to open the file from the Explorer or are word the active widow when the error occurs.

I mean if I want to send a word file with this 3D object inserted into the file to someone who doesn't know not what is labview, but it is just interesting to watch the 3-d chart and be able to rotate and look at different angles. He needs to install this driver?

  I tried several solutions and searched many forums. This has actually been a problem for some time now, and I do not know what facilities of printer driver broke.

  I did put a lot of thought into it and just posted stuff to the network and printed one of my other computers. It became a problem recently, when I was too lazy to get up and turn on one of the other computers. :-) I then decided that I just needed to fix it.

  I read all the posts I could find for each version of Windows treats this problem and tried each of them. I removed all the old drivers (at least I think I did. I couldn't find anybody would say, 'Here are the drivers installed.'). I downloaded the new drivers from HP. I edited the registry. I went to the folder/Windows/System32/Spool/something and deleted all. I searched all references to Lexmark (my old printer) and deleted.

  In any case, last night my boot sector failed, so I ended up reinstalling Windows. I just finished now, and the printer works fine, now.

Then I completely restored my system with a restore cd, upgrading to vista, downloaded all the updates and everything else works fine only problem is the opening of .exe files.
