I can't receive email, everything is OK.

I use windows implemented 8.1 updated a week ago from windows 8. To Thunderbird. 38.2.0, everything worked fine. When I downloaded my emails per week there is the following message showed (download 1-12), then he stopped at the bar green flashed on and outside, and I just couldn't receive emails - if I could send emails without any problem. I have been in contact with the ISP and everything is ok, I recreated my account on another computer and I get e-mails it without problem using Thunderbird. I tried - I use AVAST anti-virus and have been uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing works. I then deleted the email in Thunderbird and now it allows me to recreate the address. Error is check username or incorrect password. However, I put the different passwords, user names, POP3 etc is all correct - this has been checked by the ISP and confirmed correct. I've now downloaded and installed Outlook and it works. I do not like Outlook! and wish to stay with Thunderbird, any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

It is recognized that the Yahoo service is laminated with odd errors, timeouts. Weird messages, re-indexing, who sees the mailboxes all re-uploaded.

Basically Yahoo don't care of email clients. There is no pub for sale using a. They make changes to standards RFC random undocumented and not to their service and allow users to work on its functioning.

I suggest that you produce support ticked with Yahoo. But I never received a response on their part ever. Not even when their spam filter makes all of the mail a spam of email clients. I have no doubt they had answers to this one. Because he is just, he started to work again a week or two latter.

    If it downloads message #46 and then stops, message #47 is damaged or too big. Log in to your Webmail site server and delete the problem message.

    Looks like you are running in a block of 25 port. What you experienced is normal. As a general rule, the owner of port 25 SMTP server you use must be the same as the entity that provides your Internet connection at the moment. To learn more about this issue, see anti-spam
     
    The workarounds available when sending abroad are the following:
     
    1. use webmail to send (via your browser).
    2. ask your ISP if they have one port other than '25' for SMTP.
    3. If you frequently send multiple locations, get free Gmail account, configure it for POP access, set up in Windows Mail and use it to
    your shipment of household chores. Gmail uses port 465 for SMTP, which is not blocked as is port 25.

    I have updated my OS to a newer version (6.0) and I can not receive email on my phone.  He tries to connect but the message comes back that it is impossible to connect to the server.  I backed up my phone today, can I return to a previous back upward, and then restore on that?  It's back up to 2 years, how that affects my phone, it's to say, contacts, etc.

    I solved the problem... I just took my battery and released.  Phone has started to receive emails from all my email addresses.

    If you have the same e-mail address on your computer and your laptop, what you should expect unless you set your e-mail programs to leave messages on the server of the service provider.  This is because as the prices by default, once you receive your e-mail, it is removed from the server, so when you go to get your email on the other computer, it's is no longer there.

    To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try one of the following:

    • Restart Thunderbird with disabled modules (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click "restart with disabled modules. If Thunderbird works as usual, there is an add-on or theme interfere with normal operations. You will need to reactivate the modules one at a time until you locate the offender.
    • Restart the operating system in safe mode with network. This loads only the basics needed to start your computer while allowing Internet access. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, OSX
    If the safe mode for the operating system to resolve the problem, there are other software on your computer that is causing problems. The possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as updates of the program.

    Your Inbox may be altered.  Go to file | Identities and set up a new identity and add your email account and see if it works.  If Yes, then you can try to import older identity, but you may need a program to extract messages otherwise (see www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/).  You should not ignore the request to compact the database messages, like at the time, the Inbox and other folders get corrupted and you lose messages - see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#2 .

  • Outlook Express - cannot send emails, can still receive emails. Send and receive worked very well until 13/04/11 - on all our computers

    Use Outlook Express 6.00 to manage e-mail.  Worked fine until this last week when it is able to receive emails, but sending is less error - unknown error - Protocol: SMTP Server Response: 550 your hose. 66.117242.170 is in our database of RBL. Port: 25. Secure (SSL): No, Server error. 550 0x800CCC69 error number.

    We have this problem on all our computers - no changes by us during this time.  Not sure if a Microsoft issue or our Internet & E-mail provider.  They tried to say the problem on our end, not with their system, but did not have this problem about a week ago.

    Any ideas on this problem?
