When I troubleshooted, it produces an error of "your computer seems to be configured correctly, but the device or resource (DNS server) does not.   Combining the email provider or your wireless provider?  Make believe is a provider of hosting services if a recall.  Your first post stated your Rogers wireless provider so if that's the case then please try their SMTP address.  The test settings covers only typos errors while the communication with the server protocol is another.

  If I understand correctly, you cannot send mail because the send icon is no longer visible.  I know how important email is and I'm happy to help you!

  Very probably the send sort icon has been removed from the toolbar.  Here are the instructions on how to recover:

  1. In the Mail Viewer or in a new message, click on the toolbar, and then choose Customize toolbar. Or choose View > customize toolbar.

  2. Do one of the following:

     • Add item: drag an element from the palette to the toolbar until you see a green plus sign.

     • Remove an item: drag an item to the toolbar until you see or hear a "poof" effect

     • Rearrange items: drag an item around the toolbar until an open space to appear.

     • Change the way items appear: click on the view pop-up menu, and then choose an option.

  3. When you are ready, click done.

  Removed all my accounts again and reinstalled. Apart from a few problems sending there account seemed to work.
  I was expecting more help here, but unfortunately it didn't.
  I think that the update corrupted my accounts so reinstall each new seems to fix hoping to question it can help others here too.

  I have two email addy on Outlook Express 6.0 that have worked well for years.  Now, for the last 3 weeks, I can only receive mail among the addy.  I can not send and get the error:

  "The connection to the server failed. "Account: 'mail.bellspalsy.ws', server: 'mail.bellspalsy.ws', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, secure (SSL): no, Socket error: 10060, error number: 0x800CCC0E".

  I checked with my ISP, Verizon.  They tried a few things and said Outlook contact.  I also checked with the email provider of the email addy that does not work.  They said that there is nothing wrong at their end.

  Any suggestions?

  As far as I KNOW, Verizon is blocking SMTP email from Outlook (or any other mail program), unless you use a Verizon email via their SMTP server.

  Your server is mail.bellspalsy.ws, since Verizon block port 25 (smtp), that the post does not turn off.

  Option 1. Use Verizon email address and their server.

  Option 2. Whether mail.bellspalsy.ws can accept other ports and change it in Outlook.

  Option 3. Use a Webmail via the browser.

  I can't send emails on my E-MAIL talktalk.net account.   I get all emails without problem.  WEBmail also send and receive vouchers.  I have not had this problem before and it just started.  I contacted Talktalk, but they were not very helpful and suggested to contact Apple.
