I couldn't do a 3 recovery disc, so how do I go about installing Windows Vista without all of the disks?
I'm in a situation where I could make only a single recovery of 3 DVDs and now, by mistake, I formatted my PC using this disc. After that when I start my PC with recovery disc, it is not able to detect any operating system (VISTA). Help, please...
Hello
We never did all of the computer manufacturers of recovery disks
You must all reinstall them vista
If you have problems with the use or to contact the manufacturer recovery process manufacturers
It's their recovery process not microsofts
________________________________________________________________
Read this on how to reinstall Vista
Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it
they do it for a nominal cost of $
You should always have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought
you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer
Ask them of the exact key sequence
or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc
Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer
they contain all versions of vista
This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

the HP recovery discs do not normally require an input key product on your part
It's a good idea to always write it down in a safe place and away from the computer
Unfortunately, these stickers wear away very easily

Can I install a legal copy of Windows Vista without the installation disc?
Hello, all. I have a legal license for Windows Vista key, but no installation disc. Is there a way I can install on my computer?
Thank you.
Hello
You can as long that the product key is not a computer that had an operating system preinstalled Vista installed on it by using this product key (Dell, HP, etc.), or has licensed OEM System Builders, you try to move from another computer.
You never tell where you got this product key of.

You can borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

I'm not sure that you will be able to go back to windows vista. Currently I have Windows Vista Home Premium. I also have the recovery disk. Can I install windows Vista on a recovery disk? I saw this article where they made a cd to the recovery partition and installed windows vista. Following the link to the article: http://blogs.techrepublic.com.com/window-on-windows/?p=622. Re-install (clean install) Windows Vista Home Premium with no installation disc
I have a laptop that is running Windows Vista. I would like to wipe the drive and reinstall Vista. The computer came preloaded with Vista and did not include the operating system installation diskettes. How would I be able to get the Vista installation diskettes? My computer is an Acer Aspire 5100. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit (SP2).
Hello
There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.
You can contact Acer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.
They should do this for a fee if they are still available.
And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.
The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)
With an Acer, it's "left Alt + F10 at startup".
"How do I restore my computer using the eRecovery Management program outside of Windows?

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.
See programs > Acer > then their eRecovery software stars for them.
Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

Installign 7 64-bit windows Vista 32-bit using the upgrade disc
I have a toshiba satellite running a 32-bit vista. I got the upgrade windows 7 toshiba drive which contained both 32 and 64-bit. When I did a clean install of windows 7 it installed 32-bit. It gives me an option to install the 64-bit. Is it possible to install windows 7 64 bit?
Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit are on a separate disk, they are not both on a single disc.

I asked before getting a set of recovery discs and how much for my HP Pavilion a6863w!
Hi, I asked for a set of recovery disc for my HP Pavilion a6863w. He was answered, and have provided a link where to get the recovery disks. However, I was wondering if there was a set of upgrade of these recovery disks that has windows 7 or even 8 windows also. I don't know if it's possible, but I'd rather have atlkeast of windows 7 since hp is obsolete and my HP has Vista but Vista is next on the chopping block to be supported and eventually dropped. Any help and suggestions are welcome. Thank you
Hello
Sorry, you can get a HP Win 7 set for your PC recovery disc because it comes with Vista, as the preinstalled operating system.
Win Vista is supported extended until April 2017. Win 7 is covered until January 2020.
You will need to purchase an install of Win 7 OEM supplier online disc.

having the 1935 error code and can not install windows vista from my recovery disc
I have a recurring error when trying to install all programs (Error 1935).
and have reinstalled windows using my vista full 23 bits and when installing any program, even a basic program I get the error code 1935. I have a recovery disk, but I don't know how to start to charge and use the recovery disc supplied with my PC
can someone help please because I am a beginnerThank you very much
DaveEach manufacturer is different things about the recovery partition. You need to contact the computer manufacturer (online - they can publish procedures - or by telephone) for instructions on how to use the recovery disk (there are probably a combination of special keys at boot that activates the process). Keep in mind that this type of resettlement will completely eliminate your primary system partition, so don't forget to backup your important data until you try it.
Here is an article on the 1935 error and solution to fix it. Maybe this will help (he has a little advanced, but so is the problem then do your best to fight the operating instructions). http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2004/11/10/255346.aspx.
I hope this helps.
