I crushed the text when I export a photo to epub book. Why?

So, I have a book of images, all nice and laid out for CreateSpace. I create PDFs for createspace all the time, they are all very well, this is no different. But now I'm doing an epub version.

I exported to epub, for a fixed layout, it is beautiful, except for a few words on each page are all shrivelled in... as the letters on a word in a paragraph are all stacked on each other.

I'm a just teach myself this program, so I probably set something wrong in my original file, I guess. Then, treat me as stupid, and Please oh please someone help me through this? I use InDesign CC. Don't know what other information you need to know.

Thank you thank you thank you for any help at all!

I use Lightroom 5.7, 64-bit with Windows 7 Professional. Without apparent reason, I now get an error message when I export a photo, say a raw image to a JPG. However, the exported image seems to be OK. But now, I noticed that my repertoire records in library view LR does not show images correctly: If there is a folder with subfolders, the folder contains 0 images, but sub records show the correct number of images. What happened and is there a solution? I tried to uninstall Lightroom and re - install, but the problem persists.

  • When I export a photo from lightroom, the image is very pixelated.

When I export a photo from lightroom, the image is very pixelated. This Burr occurs regardless of whether I do adjustments in Lightroom.  It seems that place just the photo in it develop modual without doing anything to it taints the image in such a way that when it is exported from the modual develop the export pixelated fate.

There is a radical difference between these two images. Incredibly, export of Lightroom has been shrunk down so it has fewer pixels. This means that if you try to display them on a similar screen size, you will need to expand by zoom. Really just, which increases the size of the pixels, so pixilization. He looks exactly like its original size. I think you should just turn off the Image resizing option (uncheck the Resize to fit) in your export settings to get the quality you are looking for.

  • How to integrate the text when exporting to PDF?

Hi, I have installed a font called "AddCityBoy" and used throughout my entire project. When I went to export it to PDF, it gave me an error message, but I tried again in any case. When I opened the PDF on a Mac, (I used windows beforehand), the text was in a different font. Already, I went to the "Advanced settings" and ensure that "subset fonts when the percentage of characters used is less to ' was set at 100%. I don't know what else to do! Help, please!

Some fonts are protected and do not allow you to nest them. You can work around this by converting them into vector art by selecting the text image (s) and in the menu, choose Type > vectorize. So you will be no longer able to edit the text, save an original copy of the document before you convert, in case you want to change things after you export.

  • In the areas of text of the text is then export a pdf file to word

I use a MAC and have converted a document, but all the text is in the areas of separate text which is extremely frustrating because it makes editing the document extremely difficult, there is a way to stop what is happening and get the document just convert a normal word document?

You have the option, when exporting to retain the provision that creates text boxes or keep the flow. The latter is probably what you want. When you get the save in menu, select the options or settings button and change this option.

It was working fine until I upgraded to the latest beta version.

    any help?

Hello, unfortunately the reformatting of the text now does that if you double click on a portion of text (and when the feature is enabled under settings). This was an intentional change in firefox for android 24.

  • I get eight images (superposition) of the text when I try to edit my site; or open a window with the image X 8 icons

Firefox 16.0 Windows Vista 32-bit. Just go to FF16.0. When I try to change the text on my personal Blog, I get the text unreadable because they overlap ~ 8 times. Another site picture icons were repeated 8 times for each icon, as well as each download button for the video represented icon. I deleted my cache unnecessarily because it does not solve the problem! The problem has been ongoing for about a month; So I had to switch to a different browser, IE9 to change my Blog in the meantime! I can provide a screenshot; but my description is sufficient.

You are welcome. Glad yo managed to fix.

  • LR CC 2015.2.1 book module strange text will appear when I select the text box on page or photo

The text below appears whenever I open a box of text on page or a picture in my book. It seems that it is Latin, but I think it's nonsense. I can't delete it

because when I right click to select for deletion he disappears but then returned when I resize the page. Does anyone know what might

be the cause; It's extremely annoying?  I'm sure that's buried somewhere.

If you're still on 2015.2.1, then there are a lot of improvements with 2015.3 and 2015.4. Browse the blog for more info: http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/

The text is a placeholder for empty text boxes.

the figure above shown in the selection to return to the index page. After that this index is over

the story of the mother of selection is reinvest for the next lines or text continues in the next text frame.

The text is the revenue is in figure above.

Here what I'm doing?  to avoid the reflow of text in the history of parent the referring page.

    Please help me!

    Thank you

    John Peter.

Are you aware that your font is not installed. As long as you do not touch the text is not reinvest. But when you insert anything, even a character without a space it will be redistributed. As long as you have not installed fonts, any redistribution is not correct, please install first and see what happens.

  • Cursor jumps at the end of the text when you edit the item

I use a Javascript function, toUpperCase() to convert input in a text field.  However, when users would like to change a piece of the data string in the text, the cursor changes a character only before jumping at the end of the text and continuing.  This function causes the worsening users.  How can I keep the cursor in the right place within the chain and use always toUpperCase without the cursor jumps at the end of the string?

    Thank you!

the best way to test is to remove OnKeyUp = "this.value = this.value.toUpperCase (); ' then check if you still have the problem

strange that the problem's there even when you replace OnKeyUp with onChange because the function must not be executed until the change is complete. Also replace OnKeyUp, onBlur

I use CC2014 to Muse on a Mac and the preview by using the latest version of Chrome.  Let me know if you need more information.

    Thank you!

FYI... Design mode in the latest version of Adobe Muse CC (2014.3) uses the same metric fonts such as popular browsers give the text more consistent to the basic positions.

  • Select the layers when you export an Indesign book in PDF format?

    Hello

I created a book consisting of separate Indesign files, each containing different languages. Each language is in a separate layer.

Then, I created 4 different book, each of which contains about 5 files. This makes me 4 pounds with all the languages spread over different layers. When I export the book in PDF format, I would like to be able to select the language layer, so I can create a PDF file by language. I can open each file to hide all layers of language except the one I want to export, but it is a tedious job.

I'm wandering if there is a faster way to export in PDF format each language without having to open and re - register each separate Indesign file.

    Thanks for all the comments.

    :-)

    Tom

Why do you need to omit the French layer for a book in German?

    Just export all the layers.

Then, in Acrobat, turn off the French (Italian, Spanish, English?) and leave Germany exposed.

Save as "Meine tollen deutschen Buchmarkt.pdf.

Then, turn off all the layers except the format, and then save it under "my book excellent francais.pdf.

I promise you that no one outside of a very few people will ever know that diapers with other languages hidden there. Almost anyone who uses Acrobat knows there is to all layers. (Except the brilliant people on this forum)
