  I have problems to send and receive e-mails.  They appear in my Outbox but are not sent.  Spend half an hour with the Road Runner.  They said that it is a problem of microsoft.  No errorl signals apprear.  Items appear in shippers sent box, but I do not receive them.

  In addition to Brian's suggestions, see here: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 after you disable e-mail analysis, then delete your e-mail account, compact and repair the database of WinMail (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) then add your account to e-mail back again.

  You can also test it out yourself copy emails you send and then see if you receive.  You can also connect to RR via the webmail interface, I think and send and receive from there to ensure that it is not not a RR problem.

  Anyway, Port: 25 is incorrect.  Should be 587.

  When you try to send and receive e-mails, mail request my user name and password to connect to pop.oneandone, it does not recognize my name of user and password.   Contact support technique 1and1 to reset your password and get the correct username. Their technical support is excellent. You will need to look up the phone number on their site because I'm in the USA and do not get the numbers of U.K. from here. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

Now check if Windows Live Mail is still offline. If this is the case, repeat the cycle to select/deselect in IE until WLMail Gets the message.

  What version of Internet Explorer is installed? In Internet Explorer, press Alt - H has to do.

  Well, took me a few hours and without the help of a person (TIP!), I've fixed it. Remove the live mail client account and re-apply / restore the account. Solves what seems to be a sync error. -19 October 2011

  Windows Mail only remembers 32 addresses. You can delete any part and start over. I normally just click on the button to and add addresses from the list.

  Some messages are not complying with the standards of the Internet and the images do not show before their delivery.  You can overcome this by transmitting the message as an attachment instead, and then the images will be intact.

  This isn't the exact error message, PS paste the entire error message, but this does not mean that we have no idea.

  This above error message is perhaps due to Norton, I say Norton because I saw it with Norton. Quite possible that you use another Antivirus/Firewall. Try to disable the firewall/AV & see if this work. Alternatively, try to uninstall the security software & then give it a shot.

  Hope it would help, do not hesitate to come back with the exact error code.
