  Is Photoshop Elements first 13 just a download program?  I was expecting to receive a package in the mail, but whenever I have to check the status of my order I receive only directed to the downloads page.  In addition, the download links are all for Windows and I have a Mac... but there was no possibility to download a Mac version.  The program still works?  It's a gift for my fiance grad, so I am confused and do not want to accidentally installation on my computer...   There is no such thing. At the time same evidence were specific platform and there is no way to get a version 4.0 for PC at this stage. You can only buy the current versions.

    Kristina, PSE 7 is now end of life we have few resources for the same thing. Please make sure that you check the system requirements | Adobe Photoshop Elements before installing the PSE 7 on a new machine.

    I can't figure out yet how to start on this.  I bought the disks instead of downloading on the internet.  When I have the first disc of pop, you'll see an icon on my desktop.  Inside are records with the titles:

    Adobe Photoshop Elements 10, Autorun.inf, read me, Adobe Reader 10, Autoplay and Autoplay.exe

    I clicked on each of them and nothing seems to happen.

    When I opened the Autorun, it says: «the file format of the file AUTORUN.» There are no INF. You can uncheck the option "detect only clear formats" in the preferences.  (I don't know what that means)

    I tried clicking other things in different folders, but still, nothing seems to happen.

    How do I even start to install this software when the company does not explain what I'm supposed to do?  My Mac is a Mac OS X 10.6.8.  Thank you.

    I bought Photoshop Elements / Premiere Elements to Amazon 2 days. Today, I tried to install it on my new Macbook, there is no unit of DVD, so I copied the files on a SD card and put that in the Mac and began to install.
