  -Open the lid of the scanner.

  -Press on the COPY in black / color

  -Check if the scanning lamp light upwards and scan transport is moving.

  If the scan transport not lit OR does not move, then its time to SERVICE the printer.

  If you are unable to solve the problem and it's a question of physics with the keyboard you can replace.
