I don't want to Skype.

Original title: I DON'T want TO USE skypE it IS A * PROGRAM. THEN WHY FORCE YOU EVERYONE TO CHANGE MORE? I HAVE MSN AND I WANT TO CONTINUE TO USE IT BUT WHO EVER! DECIDED TO NOT ALLOW ME TO SIGN

ALLOW US TO CHOOSE WHAT PROGRAM WE LIKE TO USE IN MY CASE, I WANT MY MSN SINCE ALL MY CONTACTS ARE THERE ESPECIALLY MY 80 YEAR OLD MOTHER IN CANADA AND MY WHOLE FAMILY IN CANADA AND IRELAND!  SO PLEASE ME SAY HOW TO KEEP MY MSN MESSENGER? I HAD SKYPE FOR MANY YEARS AND I "HATE".

I use Skype on computers, all with at least IE, Firefox & Chrome installed and widely used every day without any problem.  Another computer that is widely used by others have everything above and Opera installed as well.

No problem of speed.  Each have webcams (desktop computers have Logitech, the laptops are part of management monitor - usually Logitech...)

  • don't want to see me then skyping

I want the person I'm skyping see me, but I don't want to see me on my screen. Is there a way that turns off? is there something I can buy to turn that off? I thought that I was able to do it on an earlier version of Skype (android), if this is not possible, it's a feature that Skype should add.

  • Need to backup my Apple Watch, I don't want to reset

I have a new iPhone. My previous iPhone died from water damage. My latest backup did not include data from health or regarding my Apple Watch. If I try to pair my Apple Watch to my new iPhone, it seems I have to reset the watch and lose all my data (15 months)! I really don't want to lose my data and training, as well as the health of my Apple Watch, but now I can't pair it with my iPhone.

    What can I do?

    Hello

I'm afraid there is nothing you can do.

Historical data of health and activity are stored on your iPhone paired, not on the watch.

If you do not have a backup of your previous iPhone (from which to restore your new iPhone), you can retrieve no historical data.

You will need to erase content and settings on your watch and pair it with your new iPhone:

    • On your watch: go to the home screen (via a simple press on the digital Crown) > (cog icon) settings > general > reset > erase content and settings.
    • Then pair your watch to your new iPhone: configure your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Safari cannot be updated past 6.2.8 on Mountain Lion. If you want to, switch browsers.

  • I don't want this button to update

    Hello

I have an old iPhone 4S and an old Macbook for mid-2010.

I think that when your hardware is old, it is best to stop the update.

But the Appstore keeps prompting, and it is very very annoying.

Why Apple does not add a button: "I don't want this update?

"This kind of annoying things adds up on others as"iTunes can not connect"when I never asked to connect to iTunes."

I'm a former mac user. I wrote my thesis on a Mac in 1989. Unfortunately, the user experience has been deteriorating since the departure of Steve. There are now Iwatch which tells that your hart beat. But we had lost, what distinguishes Apple from others, the base fine tunings.

    What a pity.

See if you can click to hide the update > hide updates in the app store

With old firefox, my favorites would always be at the top of the list when I started typing in a new tab. For example, youtube.com/subscriptions I have my favorites, and when you type youtube, my favorite would be full auto. How can I get rid of the new suggestions? I don't want to have to arrow down once whenever I try to go to a specific part of a Web site.

Hi owen09, you can return to the behavior previous autofill toolbar address like that (at least for the moment - mozilla tends to remove these preferences once again a stage of transition to a new feature has been passed):
enter on: config in the address bar of firefox (confirmed the message information where it appears) and search for the preference named browser.urlbar.unifiedcomplete. Double-click it and change its value to false.

  • I don't want to use this patch until my Norton Tool bar stiill can be used. How to make your guest to download leave me alone?

The prompt to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox appears every few hours. I said 'Ask Me later' a lot of times and I'm really tired of it, but it seems to be my only choice. I don't want an upgrade until I can keep my Norton Tool bar that works fine now. So, how can I disable your pop-up infuriating? I'm not a geek, so please I need a simple answer.
    Thank you

    Hello

Symantec (the people who make the Norton products) has taken the decision to withdraw support for their toolbar in the latest version of Firefox (in spite of having a lot of attention to do). I found this page which gives more details around this and plans to get a fix in place very soon.

I recommend that upgrade you to the latest version of Firefox to take advantage of the new features and security enhancements that are included in the browser. There is a new version of reason rather quickly who has added and improved features of the privacy that you may be interested.

If you do not want to disable update guests you get, type Subject: preferences #advanced in the address bar and select Update. This will present you the options to turn off the future, even if updates for general health and well-being of your web browsing, I suggest keeping Firefox updated and wait for the Symantec fix for your Norton product.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we will try to find another solution for you.

The last time that I downloaded the latest version of firefox that all my favorites have been removed. I don't want to download the latest version - please help

No, you protect your personal data when you update Firefox.

Firefox stored the personal data in the profile folder.

If you are concerned then make sure to back up your data regularly.
