  a whole new Tecra A10 with buildin Intel 5100 WiFi fails to connect to the Wlan router, using the pre-installled Vista Business 32-bit. Vista has always said: wrong password.

  Yes, Wifi hardware is enabled, of course. And Tecra WiFi OK MAC is stored in the config of the router. Also the WiFi settings were correct (wpa2-psk aes), corresponding to the Wlan router. Password WPA2 is 13 characters. Connect all the other machines with a Wlan successfully turns a working Wlan configuration and use of the correct password.

  I installed the latest driver on the Toshiba site - without success. I also installed the version of the driver from the Intel site will, too--without success. Doesn't matter what tool I used to connect, Vista itself, or the specific tool of Toshiba (Radar), choice to get an encrypted Wlan connection.

  WPA2 and WPA or WEP can be used. I can't get a Wlan connection when encryption is totally * disabled *! Currently, I use a * clear * Wlan to use this Tecra A10 in the network. Real gross and no solution for more than a few days.

  All other devices in the same network can connect the router Wlan with WPA2-PSK and WEP, no problem. Only the A10 / WiFi 5100 fails.

  Searching the Web I found really many reports all issue of WiFi with a WiFi 5100 devices, so it seems to be a generic material or / and driver issue.

  How can I correct this Wifi 5100 connect problem and use encryption WPA2-psk on Tecra A10 and WiFi 5100 with Vista? If this is not possible, I have to return this laptop and get another model with a working Wifi / Wlan Hardware.

  Have you tried to connect your laptop to another router by friends or elsewhere?
  It is really strange that you can use any of the WIFI ciphers available.
  Have you tried to reboot your router?

  I have Satellite A300-1LI with the same card, WLAN, preinstalled with Toshiba recovery WXP image and I use it sometimes linked to the WLAN with WEP encryption.
  Have you tried to contact Toshiba or your local dealer for advice?

  • You are able to boot to the desktop?
  • What is the version of Windows installed on the computer?

  This can happen more often if the user account is corrupted or some missing files.

  First of all, I would say that run you a virus scan online on the computer to scan and remove infections of viruses or malware on the computer and check if it works.

  If you are unable to boot to the desktop in normal mode, I would say that you start the computer in safe mode with network and try the online scan.

  3. Once you see the menu Advanced Boot Options, you can stop tapping.

  4. use the up/down arrow keys to highlight your selection.

  Assuming that there no error or warning earlier in the download process, you should check with your hosting provider that PHP is installed and activate your account.

  As part of the download process Muse downloads a small test using FTP .php file, then load it down with HTTP to confirm the file was available and ran PHP code. This criterion is apparently a failure on your hosting.

  I purchased a Qosmio x 500 10 t a couple of months back. For the first two weeks, I had no probs using the fingerprint reader to log on windows and connect to Web sites in Internet exploer.

It worked for a few attempts before probs started. And to try to enter the utility of fingerprint it says the connection of sensor failure. So, I did a system restore.   If you are running Windows Update you get an error?  Is this an error state that it is from Windows Update or is this another program that runs a program of automatic update?

  Perform a clean boot and see if the error returns.  Post back with the results and INFO.

  I was not able to get an automatic update in a month, I tried manuly too but not go either. I get an error that says it cannot install the update. It tells windows update encounter an unknown error 80244019 when trying to update manuly.

  Have you tried to temporarily uninstall Norton 360?

  Type the following commands, each followed by pressing on enter.

  I also recommend to call your ISP (Internet service provider [company you pay for internet]) and tell them to reset your connection.

  I have a printer HP of J6480 with WIn 7.  Device Manager does not recognize the printer driver.

  (2) I tried the HP uninstaller program, through all five uninstall programs twice.

  (4) I tried to delete the Device Manager "Officejet! Entry J6400 series.  The Solution and the printer Center then do not work.  Apparently, the Device Manager recognizes the printer but not the driver.  I have to go to 'Programs', 'HP', then 'Officejet J6400 Series' to reinstall the software.

  (5) I tried to get the Device Manager to recognize the software.  When I click on «!» OfficeJet 6400 series', I get the message "the drivers for this device are not installed (code 28).  If I then click on 'Update Driver' and select' Browse my computer for driver software"then click on"Browse "C:\Users\Myname\Downloads", where I have the Sofware HP 13.0 full feature software and basic print and Scan Driver files, he says "Windows cannot find driver software".   If I click on "Search automatically by the driver software", I get the same message.

  OK, if a few things stood here:

  1 windows its "cannot connect device" sounds only with a direct connection, not a network connection which is what you have. (Ethernet)

  2. have you had any other device installed on this computer is more active?

  I would like you disconnect the Ethernet connection and go below:

  1. uninstalling the printer software

  2. make a restart on the computer, when it starts, do you hear the sound "device cannot connect?
