Hello together! I already have Photoshop Elements and really like the program! Now, I want to buy Premiere Elements - can I get a discount? (I've seen there is a double: Photoshop Elements + Premiere Elements available) Thanks for your help! Tobi
I guess it depends where you bought Photoshop Elements. Did you buy it from a retailer or directly from Adobe?
In any case, you will need to contact Adobe Customer Service to see if there is a discount. This is a user to user forum.

Hello
Unfortunately, you can only create 1 set of recovery media.
Copy and burn recovery USB DVD and then using DVD to make the system recovery will not work.
What you can do is to backup all your data on an external drive. Do a factory reset with the USB of recovery to recover all partitions including the recovery on the HARD drive partition.

I have a HP p6310f with a 1 TB hard drive partitioned into two partitions. One I have a Win 7 OS, which becomes more and more corrupt. I would get a new version on the other partition and keep the old version until I don't know that I have restored all the programs and data properly, just in case I need something and are struggling to rebuild. Is this possible? When I tried to install the recovery disks, they said that the entire disk, not just the score, would be erased. This seems a bit silly, but I am very worried about losing key information and programs that I am not able to restore.
Hello
If you use HP recovery disks to reinstall the operating system, you are right that they reformatted the whole HARD drive before installing the operating system. As far as I know, has no way around that. The only thing I can suggest is to make sure that you are able to get the installers of any program that you need before you restore the PC and maybe do two backup copies of all your personal data, just to be sure.
On the link below, just select your operating system (Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit) and verify that you are able to download the drivers and software you need before you reinstall it. You can always save installers for a writable DVD etc. now and then just to run it from the disk when you want to reinstall.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes

My wife and I bought hundreds of iTunes movies and music over the years. I have a terminal illness and won't last long. The account is in my name. How can I ensure that films and the songs that she and I have paid for are accessible for her after I die?
She needs to have your Apple ID and password. Your iCloud ID and the password if you have your own iOS device, so it can have access to these facilities. Even if she wanted to sell, it would need this information to remove the lock of activation before the sale.

DV7-6169nr: A GREEN SCREEN at STARTUP - GOT RID OF THE GREEN, BUT HAVE NOW ROSES AREAS
replace defectivve green screen with 2 other - without success - both produce rose narrow verticle bars where the White is supposed to be. now when he starts everything going normal until like opening the box start background all the vertical bars pink - the original screen model number is - B173RW0 V. 3 - screen of some vendors do not have the ability to cross my room number.
MY BIG QUESTION, IT IS A SCREEN CAUSE BARS ROSE, I JUST DESCRIBED OR FRIEND BARKING THE WRONG TREE?
Hi @LR7575,
Thanks for posting HP forums! I read your post and wanted to help.
I understand that you have a green screen, so you replaced by others, but other screens show pink.
This problem is caused by faulty connections, wiring, a bad driver, defective or lack of material. You can test by connecting to an external monitor, if the external monitor still adapter pink watch, you can get a bad display or graphic driver.

The display freezes randomly. The Windows desktop, on the Web pages and during the games. This problem started when I had Vista and I have improved the thought that the BONE was the problem. It is not the case. I added 2 GB of the thought of RAM I need more to no luck. I have now deleted 1 graphics card and the problem persists. I deleted all software except the OS and the problem persists. When you start Windows in safe mode, that the computer does not freeze.
You are either having a video card driver problem or a ram memory stick problem. I suggest that you check your ram and the settings in the BIOS. Use security settings BIOS for the ram as the auto setting. The Intels i7 have a little problem sometimes with more than one ram Strip and having the highest speed at stake. Check this and get back with me. I have a simple philosophy: just assume everyone is a piece of c.r.a.p. and then be pleasantly surprised if you find someone who is not.

After compacting emails, all my emails from September 2011 until now have disappeared. Are there opportunities that I get back them? I use Outlook Exprees and he suggested that I should compact messages. I've done it several times before and everything was OK until
Two reasons the most common for what you describe is disruption of the compacting process, (never touch anything until it's finished), or bloated folders. More about that below. Why OE insists on compacting folders when I close it? :
http://www.insideoe.com/FAQs/why.htm#compact
Why mail disappears:
http://www.insideoe.com/problems/bugs.htm#mailgoneRecovery methods:If you are running XP/SP3, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files. To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder. If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.
If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:DBXpress run in extract disc Mode is the best chance to recover messages:
http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/default.aspxAnd see:
http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#4A general warning to help avoid this in the future:Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. I don't know my product key. I don't have a disk it came with the pc and below when I try to read I can not, some numbers are scratched and I just format my pc what can do?
Just installed windows 7 but I can't read my product key?
Help me please thx!
Option 1:
If the COA sticker is damaged, you must use the recovery partition to reinstall Windows 7, it will be exempt from the need to use the product key to activate your installation of Windows 7.
Option 2:
If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling. This will exempt the need to also use the product key.
Option 3:
If neither options 1 or 2 is possible, then you will need to invest in a new license of full version of detail.
