• Old number var trick no longer works

  This is so the installer, in AS 2, I used a variable number of helping create a navigation system that checked to determine which button was clicked and moved accordingly on the timeline. You will see in the joint ACE. Basically, all I did was put a new variable number 0, and when a specific button has been clicked, it would change the value to 1. A function would then verify which set the value "1" and then move the playhead on the label of the frame (and then reset the variable to avoid looping problems). It does not work and I get the error message:

  In other words, it is not working. The only things I changed my script AS2 version has the syntax for creating the variable and using a button instead of a clip.

  I finally thought to it.

  The problem is that, on the main time line, I also had an event listener for the entirety of an instance of mcWhat to go to the image tag 'start '. Because this ACE was on the main timeline, it replaced the others contained in the instance of mcWhat headphones. The solution was to put an invisible button in a layer above mcWhat on the main timeline that triggers the gotoAndPlay ("start") and so frees both btnSkills and btnHome (both on the time line of mcWhat) and allows event listeners to perform their functions.

  So in short, the problem was not to ACE in the clip, it was the event listener for the clip that has been causing conflicts.

  Good God, I have much to learn about the smart coding.

  you try to connect to port 1935 and 100 on http port, you must connect to them via rtmp... .abolish port 100 fms.ini because flash player don't know how to connect rtmp over http using anyway. I personelly not have 1935 located in a development environment, because I have a webserver on the same machine runnning. Can I serv connected .swf apps over the net without a problem, that you only need to set port 80, when the user specifically blocks port 1935 with a firewall (rarely the case). so, since you are not in a production environment omit the port 80 and 100 of the fms.ini and connect through the rtmp Protocol, and everything will be ok.
