  I just bought the version of Adobe CS4 Design Standard education and had no problem to install everything but Photoshop CS4 (what do I really need)!  It does not appear on the installation menu when I run startup, but it seems to be on the installation DVD in a couple of the .dmg packages. I currently have photshop elements 6 for Mac installed, and I already had installed Photoshop CS4 ext trial with LightRoom 2, but they removed from my system once the trial is over.   I have had a look through the forums here do not seem to have all the same questions.  I have three drives in the package, 1-Applications, content-2 and 3-learning.

  I can see the files for Photoshop .dmg disk 1-Applications, but do not know if I develop they successfully install Photoshop.  I managed to install InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat 9 with the parts with no problem and still about 100 GB of free space on the disk.

  I'm installing on my MacBook Pro, with 250 GB HD and 4 GB of RAM with 512 MB video card.  I previously ran the trial version on the machine with no problems, so I'm assuming that there is no problem with the minimum requirements to run the software.  The only problem I think that could touch it is that I don't have Safari 4 on my machine...

  Probably because of the trial. Run the CS4 Cleanscript then re-install all :-(

  Transfer facilities of Adobe does not normally operate.  You must reinstall using installation files.  At a minimum you must disable, but you may find that you need to uninstall and reinstall.

  If everything seems to work, leave it.  If you have a problem:

  Uninstall all cs4 programs and use the cleaning tool cleaner, use of the CC to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6

  Uninstall flash player, Uninstall Flash Player | Windows

  Restart your computer.

  First install indesign.

  then install photoshop

  Then install acrobat and Illustrator

  Then, install the remaining programs of cs4.

  I bought a copy of CS4 Design Standard a few years ago and still use it today. I update my 2009 MacBook to a MacBook Pro 2012 which is not a disk drive so I need a download of this edition. When you look at the list of downloads I don't see version CS4 Design Premium, no Design Standard version. Can someone point me in the right direction?

  I have the Adobe CS4 Design Standard student edition. I get an error message that says: "cyclic redundancy check" when I try to install the program via the disc. I always kept this disc secured inside the cd case, and it has no scratches. The disc could still be corrupted? How can I fix?

  If there is no solution, is there a way for Adobe customer service to allow me to download digitally the same student CS4 version, and then save the program with my original serial number?

  I bought a student/teacher version of standard for CS4 for Mac in 2009.  I loaded the trial version and when I purchased the software, I was sent a serial number to activate the software.  I recently had to reimage my computer and do not have a cd (I have never sent one) to reload the software.  I recorded my serial number of the software on the Adobe site.  When I contacted them on loading the software, they would not provide a link because he doesn't buy them.  I have a letter from the place, I bought what tells me to contact Adobe support.  Even when I contacted the seller about my purchase, the information they sent me check buying again once told me to contact Adobe support.  Where can I go to download CS4 Design Standard for Mac student/teacher version.
