  (1) once the page opens, please select the country in which you are located. Then enter your model of HP on the right number.

  (2) then choose "Contact the Support" tab at the top and scroll to the bottom of the page "HP Support - contact" to fill out the form with your details.

  (3) Once finished, click the "Show Options" at the bottom right.

  (4) Finally, scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Get a phone number." A file number and telephone number will now fill for you.

  Probably your cartridges have dried, perhaps due to power the printer before removing the cartridges were lucky to the Park.  Try to run the three cleaning cycles to the Toolbox, as described here , then try to print a page of test, as described in this page.   If there is any suspicion of printing (even a few strands) then the electronics is OK.  In this case a more thorough cleaning cycles can help.  If this isn't the case, then soak the print head in about 1 "of very hot water for 10 minutes or if can wipe the nozzles.

  If there is still no sign of printing, this may indicate a power failure of the electronic control unit of printer.  You can check the cartridges dabbing them on a damp cloth.  A good cartridge will leave a dark spot of cyan, magenta and yellow or black according to the cartridge.

  Two updated versions are currently:

  • 18.0.0.194
  • 13.0.0.296

  If you cannot install 18.x, then you would need to use the Adobe uninstaller program to remove 17.x. otherwise, Setup for 13.x will always tell you the superior version already.
