For a short time today, the appearance of the police showed that the type was in CAPITAL LETTERS, even if the CAPS LOCK SHIFT key was NOT enabled. I could not return to the low case letters, so I restarted my computer, and only the UPPERCASE function had returned to normal. The "BOLD" type always appears any police, I chose, UNLESS I reduce the font size to 8 Pt, for each single font from the list of fonts in Outlook Express.   The disc is irrelevant, what matters is the product key that you used.

  Compare key - license in use

  Click Start, type: cmd

  Right-click on CMD

  Click on run as administrator

  At the command prompt, type the following command:

  slmgr - dli

   

   

  Press enter on your keyboard

  This will reveal the key to partial product that give a clue. Compare it with the keys that you have and it will confirm which copy is in use.

  If you are using Vista, go to http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/06/22/reset-and-fix-broken-windows-vista-file-ext-and-type-associations-include-exe-com-sys-zip-lnk-folder-drive/ and scroll down to EXE and click or double-click it to run the program to restore EXE file associations.  Once done, do the same for LNK entry.  This should restore your programs and get the Internet icon to go to the internet rather than WMP.  If you use Windows 7, go to http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/19449-default-file-type-associations-restore.html. If you are using XP, go to http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm.

  If this does not work and it started recently, try a system restore to a restore point BEFORE the problem started.  If you use Windows 7, see:http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html. If you are using Vista, see:http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.   First, make sure that the netgear device is not a router.  An Extender is very good.  You can't have more than one router in a network.  Also make sure that if you use the router wireless integrated into your modem, the router ONLY in use.

  There is a very specific configuration for the Extender.  It should have come with detailed instructions.  If you can't find them, call Netgear for assistance.
