  You need Adobe raw camera 8.7 version. Unfortunately your software is earlier than the camera. ACR 8.7 is only compatible with PSE13. But it is possible to download and install the free DNG Converter to convert your raw files to the universal Raw format files and Adobe will be open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the software of the camera factory)

  The program to check your Plugins I managed for Firefox 3.6.13 under WXP gives me an orange button indicating that the Adobe PDF plugin is out of date and suggests I click to update, but when I do so I don't get in an update for the plugin, but a download of 47 MB for Adobe Reader X. I find nothing on a plugin to update on the Adobe or Adobe Downloads site. This plugin is certainly not a 47 MB program.

  You must download and install the full application in order to get the latest version. The plugin is part of the application.

  If you do not have the recovery key, your only option is to reset the recovery key. To do this, follow these simple instructions:

  1. Click on «Set up Firefox Sync»
  2. Click on 'Connect' as I already have an account.
  3. In this window, forget the code and click on 'I don't have the camera with me' right underneath the 3 boxes.

  I tried both.  Actually, what I did to resolve this was to ADE 3 version to uninstall and reinstall version 2.  Not sure if it was uninstall and reinstall or version, but it works now.  Thanks for your respone!

  In proxy environment, the computer cannot connect to the Adobe servers, so it does not work. The proxy or the firewall should be disabled if you use creative cloud.

After copying the file to another location, it will open without any other change to the authorisation.

  You can take hand the case of credentials in appdata & check if it helps. Follow the steps below:

  1. type %appdata%\microsoft\windows\sendto in the start search box and press ENTER. Browse to the location roaming\Microsoft\credentials.

  2. right click on the folder and then click Properties.

  3. click on the Security tab, click Advanced, and then click the owner tab.

  4. click on change. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  5. click on the name of the person you want to give to the property.

  If you want that person to be the owner of the files and subfolders in this folder, select the Replace owner of subcontainers and objects to check. Click OK.
