I have Ipad Pro and you want to sync with my Mac computer.  The mac says I need an update iTunes buti already have the latest version on my Mac

I have an iPad Pro 128 GB and you want to synchronize the majority of the elements of my Mac computer to the new iPad.  iTunes says I need to download the latest version, but it's already on my Mac which says that I have the current version.  How should I proceed.

The iPad Pro requires iTunes 12.3.x, available here. You don't say what operating system you are using: v12.3 requires 10.8.5 minimum (10.9.5 If you want to use Apple Music).
