Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/notebook > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Audio from Vista drivers > download/install them.

I tried to find and re - install the driver sound max and I find one and download each time it says that the driver is not compatible with my version of windows. I'm a dv7 - 7243cl running Windows 8, which had questions about not the case. First of all the wireless issue. I have to constantly go to networks and connect to my wireless. Is not connected to any wireless even when even if my settings are set to "automatically connect". About 75% of the time, I hit "solve problems" so that he can reset my wireless adapter and others to connect. I checked all my drivers and they are up to date.
My second question is recently (beginning about 3 days ago), when I close the lid of the laptop, the screen is off, but the laptop continues to operate.
