  After the upgrade from Vista to W7-64 CV, I have a problem with an active WiFi Seagate GoFlex TV Media Player asking for a "Net User ID & Net password" to log.  I used all imaginable combinations of IDs & passwords, but they all lead to logon fails. I'm almost certain that it is a W7 security problem because others with the same players who went to W7 face the same problem.  I found many supposed fixes online, but none works.

  I am aware that MS W7 works as it should and Seagate is not their problem, but if anyone can recommend a change of security to help this issue, I guarantee a pass towards the sky.

  PS: All the sharing, etc. continuously.  are installed as they should be.

  The only reference to Net User ID and password I can find is on page 46/47 of the User Guide. If this is not the user name and password of the Windows account that you want to share files with, I don't know what it is.

  Chances are you have a problem with the code in your file.  Do you get any error messages?  You should because of the double function in code that show you.  You can't have two functions named button2_clicked.  The last should be button4_clicked and should probably go elsewhere...

  Looks like a trivial question, but through the course of a day it gets very boring very quickly.  I don't remember that it works this way in older versions of windows, and I hope that there is a way to fix it.  What I would like is the first click on an app just make active in order to quickly click the apllication anywhere and start typing there where I left.

Fast forward 6 months that I had a problem with a windows installation file deleted and in order to get a program running I had to add a user account for the new installation of the user files. That part worked, but when I disconnected and tried to return to my original owner account there was only the new account on the logon screen my original account wasn't there. My files for this user account are still there in C: User but I can't find a way to get there.

  Googleing this problem I saw things about problems with the accounts being listed as AccueilCompte, or administrator, but it did get me anywhere, the only difference I've seen after going through all that I saw in Win7 Home Premium, which had to do with user accounts, it is that my original account was registered in a field as 'owner '.   Check the proxy settings that blocks maybe, or a firewall.

  System Preferences > network > Advanced (for your current connection) > Proxies
