  You can have the creative cloud installed and signed in on two computers as long as you don't use it on one at a time. Download and install as you did on the first computer, sign in to your Adobe account on the Adobe using your Adobe ID website, download the desktop app from clouds, then download the software.   To synchronize your settings, you must use Photoshop CC (aka Photoshop 14). You use Photoshop CS6, which is the previous version of Photoshop (version 13.1.2). You can download Photoshop CC and other applications http://creative.adobe.com/apps cloud creatives

  You can install and activate up to 2 Macs for your own use. That would leave you with a spare part if something were to happen with your old Mac.

  However if you are going to get rid of, see help > deactivate, then also check the option to remove the serial number power the computer off.

  Then go to your folder CS6 use the Uninstall.app to properly remove Photoshop. Do not drag the folder to the trash.

  You can install fresh on your new Mac from your drive, turn and look for the updates.

  As a note: do not move or copy your old installation of Photoshop to a new Mac.
