I then went back to my Tolino and activated the Adobe ID it and everything seemed good, until I tried to read a book. "Recent documents" is no longer the fill - how can I solve this problem?
Hello
a friend was using my laptop while I was away and decided to 'make things better' by installing MS Security Essentials on my existing anti-virus. This and defragmentation, is apparently all that he has done to speed up performance.
However, given that these changes were made to windows is no longer seem to be able to save the recently used documents. The recent Documents folder is present and appears in the start menu. However, no document shortcuts are appearing in the records of recent documents.
In addition both Word and Excel are not updated their own list of files recently used either. The documents, they date before showing changes made to the system and do not reflect the documents used since.
How can I fix? I am using Windows XP Media Center Edition on an HP laptop
Thank you
First check to see if recent Documents is enabled
Right click on the bar tasks - click the Start - Menu tab click on customize - click on the Advanced tab is list my open documents recently checked inside?
If this does not work, check line 55 here.

Failure of a component of recording
Some of the files needed to play radio are missing or corrupt. Registration of the media center components may have failed. The above message is displayed whenever I put Media Center on and try to watch television. The guide lists are also not downloading.
And im having trouble with the tuner.
Tuner not found
the tuner is defective or not installed.someone help?
Hello hillsiderWH,
Seems that your windows installation is missing most important files, I suggest you boot to the top with your windows media center installation CD and run repair on the windows installation. This will replace any missing files and I hope that your media center up and running. If this isn't the case, it could be a problem in the registry.

I have a View Sonic LCD 24 inch flat screen and it has a blue tint, how can I solve this problem?
Hello
He got this 1 day, or has it just begun?
If it was always this way, it could be a manufacturing defect or your advanced display settings may be incorrect. The latter can be determined according to the settings/Advanced/display/personalization in the control panel settings. See Customization here, it varies depending on the manufacturer, but you focus on controls that adjust color output.
If it has started, then it is possible the monitor had a malfunction. I put another monitor (if available) on the system. If the problem persists, then the fault is in the video card or display drivers. If it disappears, then the monitor can go wrong (you can try to adjust the settings on the screen itself to see if it has no effect). If it turns out to be the graphics card, I would like to firstly download and install a new set of drivers for the graphics card or the manufacturer of the system (the best for download, then uninstall the current set restart and install the new download).
