I have whenever I start pressing F1

Original title: startup

Why should I by pressing f1 to continue each time I start up iget a choice of f1 to continue or f2 for installation

The "Floppy diskette Seek Failure" message means that your computer's BIOS Setup is set to floppy drive to be present, but none are.  You can fix this by going into the BIOS Setup (press of computers Dell F2 while the Dell logo is on the screen, may need to press several times).  Your computer manual or website support Dell will tell how to disable the floppy drive - the process differs between computers and sometimes even between models of the same manufacturer.

The other two errors (missing the SATA devices and memory allocation errors) sound not good - you want to contact Dell technical support to see what those who speak.

    Hello

I googled this file pofusido.dll and it could be caused by a virus.

I would suggest that you disable the restore mode as viruses use it to reinstall set apart them.

Download and install the free http://www.malwarebytes.org/

Restart the computer and keep pressing F8 to get into safe mode with network connection.

Once you have updated Malwarebytes run and see if it can remove the virus.

So delete all cookies in your internet Explorer.

How can I set the time axis on my waveform table to show run time that is to say whenever I start the program I should have 0 as the starting point. I've been messing around with the without success. I'm under Labview 2012.

Its pretty normal for a beginner to take the time to write code. Right-click the map of waveform > Create > property node > historical data, you will get a property node, keep this at the beginning of the code and create a constant. You can also go to the VI properties and > run and select "clear indicators when it is called.

I recommend you to go through the basic materials of LabVIEW which will give you an understanding on the basics of bases/components of LabVIEW.

Whenever I start my computer, I get the message: "this file doesn't have a program associated with to perform this action...". "for my external drives.  I use these daily backup USB drives. It seems that the backup will run, if I acknowledge this message by clicking OK. If this is not the case - it won't. Why is that happening and how can I solve this problem?

You can repair the associations used to readers.  One of my fellow MVPS, Shawn (no relationship lol) has default binding settings in his site here:

    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/19449-default-file-type-associations-restore.html

Just scroll down to find the link of 'reader', click it, and launches the link.  You can do the same thing with "folder" and "directory" to be thorough.

  • tabs disappear whenever I start Firefox 19

I normally Firefox put in place to have 5 tabs pinned and 2 or 3 tabs recorded since the previous session of Firefox. Since I have updated to version 19 FF, I lose 1 pinned tab whenever FF is started. I tried the fixes suggested on the issue of corruption of sessionstore.js file, checked to make sure that Firefox 'Will Remember history' is selected, the file used > Exit to leave FF. Whenever I start Firefox, it will miss a pinned tab (not all, just one). I started with 5 and I can go out, and then launch FF and only 4 pinned tabs are open. Repeat and only 3 are open, etc. If I have a normal tab open when I go out, it is saved & opens the next time FF starts, it seems open tabs is saved, but pinned tabs are closed. In addition, it is always the second pinned tab which is lost (counting from left to right). When there is only one tab left, pinned next time I restart FF, a normal tab is closed. Every time you start after that will close another normal tab until one pinned tab is on the left (the left most pinned tab). I have not tried to restart FF with only the one pinned tab, but essentially is that I lose 1 tablet recorded each time I have quit and restart and seq. anyone else see this behavior or have any suggestions to fix?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

Alternatively, you can check for problems with the cleaning and security software.

Try to start the computer in safe mode Windows with network support (on the startup screen, press F8) as a test to see if that helps.

  • Whenever I start my computer, I see the message, "C:\Windows1\Kjoralir.dll" is missing.

Whenever I start my computer, I see the message, "C:\Windows1\Kjoralir.dll" is missing.  This happened for several months, but I just ignored him.  Don't know if it's related, but a user cannot disconnect without pressing the Windows key and the "L" key at the same time.

Tonight I ran a registry repair program, and it fixed a lot of errors.  But, always, the message came after a reboot.  I don't know what it is, what it does or how to remedy the situation. Can anyone help?

    Thank you!

You may have damaged even more by running a registry cleaner for Windows. The best registry cleaners are snake oil, and at worst they will damage MS Office and sometimes Windows itself. Details:

For the problem, Googling for this file appears your post. When you get no hits for a filename on Google, chances are high that it is a malicious program file. Either you have uninstalled the malware program or your antivirus/antispyware program did. In all cases, a reference has been left in the boot file. You can remove the reference by managing your startup.

Because you had a piece of malware, the chances are too high you had others. It would be a good idea to scan. I recommend to download and install MalwareBytes' anti-malware (MBAM) from http://www.malwarebytes.org . The program is free. (There is a paid version, but you don't need to buy it to remove the malware).

    Manage startup:

(for XP) Start > run > msconfig [Enter]

This will open the System Configuration utility. Look under the Startup tab and find the likely culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, apply and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but next time you do, you will get a dialog box saying that you have used the utility. Just check the box that says in effect, "don't mind to this subject again".

    Hi zo3ytig3r,

This error usually indicates that you have a bad sector disk or startup.   If you have been able to start, it is recommended that you back up your data to an external storage device.  Once you have backed up your data, follow the steps described in this document to fix the boot sector.  Let us know if that helps.

  • How can I disable the 'Open with' window that appears whenever I start?

My desktop pc using Windows 7 Home Premium. For years, I want to start with nothing default opening. Each time, the choice of what to open were made manually by me.

For some reason that I don't understand, one day after start-up, this 'Open with' window appears. Under "Choose the program you want to use to open this file," the indicated file was my name. (I replaced the one here with the word "Me.")

I never asked this window will open after startup. It appeared for the first time without having done me anything. I do not think that I have all the files with my first name only, so I closed the window and ignored.

But the window open whenever I start. Don't need or want to be, I keep closing and ignore him.

Soon, not one, but two of the pop-up appeared. Then THREE.

For several years, the three windows double as above appeared whenever I start.

Don't know how or why it began. Don't know which program is causing it. Don't know how to stop it.

Anyone recognize this window? Do you know which program is causing it to appear after startup? Do you know how to disable? Is there a trick to disable three of them?

    (1) is the window 'Open with' above now a default pop-up window after startup that cannot be disabled without the registry editor?

No, the "open with" isn't a local default value.  You see it because something - probably malware - tried to configure your computer to start a process at startup time.  Windows, however, does not recognize the name of the process (i.e. the file name) as an executable program so it asks you to specify which program to use to open the file.

No, you don't need to manually edit the registry to resolve this problem.

    (2) there is no program in Control Panel I can open that has a simple toggle to turn it on or off?

No, there is no program in Control Panel you can use to solve this problem.

Here's how fix you the problem.

    A. the easy way (doesn't unless you are very lucky)

    • Click the start ORB, all programs and then scroll down until you find "Startup" and click on it.
    • If you see that anything that gets filed that you do not want to start when you log on to "Start", right click and delete.
    • If you do not know what the items listed and are reluctant to delete something you don't understand not (a very good policy to follow), list all the elements in your next reply and someone here will try to advise you.

    B. the way a little harder (that almost always works)

    • Download here Autoruns.zip (this course is that you download from a Microsoft web site)--> http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx
    • Right-click on the downloaded file and select "extract all".
    • Go to the folder where the extracted files are located (this should have been opened for you by default), and then double-click on autoruns.exe
    • Wait until the program has finished scanning (look at the bottom left corner) and then select the 'connection '.
    • Look in the column titled 'Image path' for a line that includes whatever it is that appeared as the 'file' in the original pop-up window.
    • If you find a line with the same name in there, uncheck the box at the left end of the line, close Autoruns and restart your computer.
      • If the ToolTip no longer displayed, you can (a) do nothing do or Autoruns (b) re - run, find the line you're not controlled and right click > delete it.
    • If you cannot find a line with the name you're looking for...
      • Click on the "all" tab
      • Click file, and then click search, then enter the name and click "next".
        1. If a line is found, right click and select 'copy '.
        2. Paste the line in your next reply here
        3. Press F3 to find the next instance and repeat steps 1 and 2 until no more bodies are found (if there are several rows, you can open a Notepad window and paste the lines temporarily here)
        4. If you are reluctant to publish anything with your name in it, change the lines to replace your name
  • warning sound whenever I start my computer

I've got this Compaq presario CQ40, there is a warning tone and a press ESC to set up the line at the bottom of the screen, so I have to Press esc so that the there is a menu set up, test and press ENTER to continue to start menu, so I just always press on enter whenever I wan to start towards the top , but what can I do to have a normal start every time?

    Check the date\time in BIOS.

If that requires every time that you start your laptop, then your battery RTC (BIOS) no longer offers enough current to the BIOS chip (eeprom) to contain the parameters. The solution is to replace the RTC battery with a new one.
