  The extensions are installed only in Firefox and should appear classified in tools > Modules > Extensions

  You should get a command prompt to install the extension if you click on the "Add to Firefox" button on the page modules.

  If you saved the extension to a folder on the computer and then drag the extension in a Firefox window or use file > open file (Firefox > new tab > open the file) to install the extension.

  Basically I was looking for Downloader that can work with almost every browser/site for my laptop earlier, for example, I m using Video Downloader. This downloader is a SIMPLE Downloader and it works with Internet Explorer, Google, Bing etc and also it can download videos online with Youtube & much more other sites and it records video in FLV. But there are a few sites where this Downloader is not favourable and it does not work with these sites i.e. it doesn't download videos online of these sites.

• How to stop a video download it restarts every time I open Firefox?

  I got rid of the addon. Restart Firfox a dozen times now. Restarted my computer. But everytime I open Firefox, the download starts. The arrow above shows that no download is ongoing. He is gray now, and nothing is in my Show all downloads. I tried to boot into safe mode with all the Add-ons disabled. Always start the download. I would leave it to finish, but it never does. The icon is completely green, but he says never download is complete. I open the video file successfully, but he always told me when I left firefox is running a download. When I clicked out in all cases, the file has disappeared from my download folder.
