I just added my computer outlook (2003) and I use my gmail email. But when I tried to add an outlook folder say he could not connect to the server and said I should be online. So I need help on adding files in appearance.

    I had the same problem with my ELPH HS 330 and called customer service yesterday. Here's what he had to get to fix:

    (1) in the 'Canon' under 'Program Files' folder that is created when you install the software, there is a subfolder named 'WirelessCameraConnectionSetting '. In this folder is an exe file called "WirelessCameraConnectionSetting.exe".  Double click it and go through prompt, as appropriate.

    (2) make sure that you have already created a user account on the Canon site.

    (3) check that your camera is recorded under your user profile. I had saved my camera before you create my user account, and so even though I had received an email congratulating me to save it, the camera was not associated with my user account, and it must be for the "configuration web access ' via CameraWindow can work.  In fact, there are a selection of 'extra features' called something like 'use Canon iMAGE Gateway' that should be checked on at registration so that you have the camera and the ability to use it via the web with your user profile.

    Once I did this, it worked very well. I responded to this topic in my survey customer service that they sent me yesterday evening. So I hope that they will provide a shot in packaging or a link on their site. But since I found this post on the forum seeking CameraWindow failed to connect to the server, I hope that if nothing else, others will find it before having to be called.

    Well well just in case someone found this one in the future, the question turns out to be that my PC has been joined to a domain, but I was connected to a local account. I solved the problem by leaving the field. There may be other ways to work around this problem.
