  Good evening

  I was unable to print wireless so I did a network reset the unit. When I rebooted the machine, I proceeded to return to the network settings in order to capture the wireless information however I received the error "function has been locked by the administrator or the person who set up your printer".

  I'm not sure what is the problem with that I'm the one who created this printer. I assign a password to the machine, and with that, I have no option to enter in order to unlock all the features (there is usually an option under 'Tools'.).

  After some searching through the forums, I printed a wireless test and the results were a single FAILURE for Wireless on.

  Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  He had a semi full reset, which once preformed resturned unit to its state of semi reset and allowed me to change the settings I made.

  Possible reason for this behavior:
  I suspect that a third-party application to start conflicts and it translates into changing the resolution. Once you got the correct resolution after re-installing the drivers set the computer to clean up state of startup and then check if the resolution changes. In this way, we can use the approach 50 / 50 to find contradictory application the cause.

• BlackBerry Smartphones that I locked myself?

  I won an auction on Ebay. Phone is BB storm2. Phone seems to be exactly as if it was supposed to be. As soon as I turned it on it ask for a "new password" I thought Hmm but ok because he asked for a new. I put one in and once again to check it out. Its the one I use all the time so I felt safe to use. Now, after having checked the wifi, I clicked the lock button on top of phone. When I tried to look at something else he asked a PW now and will not take the one I just put in? I know I have 5 left out of 10 attempts. No idea what I should do now. I have an Email in the former owner, but it is a bit slow to return. I have a storm 1 during some time now and I think I've read that I brick this phone after 10 attempts.  Anyone? Is there a default PW that this phone comes with? My storm 1 has not. Thanks for any help

  OK its wiping. Not sure how this has happened. I know that I put in the same PW. I have a PW I use all the time this kinda thing and was the same as that of the years. Because he made me put in half the time I'm just lost regarding why this has happened. Pourrait the last owner wiped as he thought, and somehow he kept his old PW? Well whatever my problem at the moment seems to be fixed and I think you a lot John.

  If you have multiple accounts administrator (for different physical users) can do nothing to control what can (and probably will) be overridden.

  One thing I would suggest is to be more limiting the number of system administrators.  Limited accounts and using run as something you start doing that should actually be * needs * administrative access and could not do without it.

  I guess you could do it, then it runs a scheduled task (either occasionally or start [or both]) which defines the network settings, how you want.  Depending on your environment and that "Administrators" - they may or may not find it easily.  However, once again, they are system administrators - they can do/undo everything you can do/undo.

  If you use a local account, you can use your password as a reminder hint. Check if shift caps lock is enabled. I suggest to use on-screen keyboard and try logging on your local account and check if it helps. Follow these steps.

  1. On the login screen, click on ease of access button on the lower left corner of the screen.

  2. Click on on-screen keyboard (OSK).

  3. Try to enter the password using OSK and check.

  Hello! I sought an answer to my problems for the past two weeks, but I'm not able to find another that a type solution work around very manual so I am here!

  I have a problem where a solution out-of-box is built to manage locks very badly.
  I don't have the source code, so I can't change the application.
  What happens is:
  
  (1) a user accesses the application and changes a record.
  The application crashes the record in the database and this line lock does not expire.
  
  (2) criticism of the process starts and creates another lock who waits indefinitely for record locked in 1 free.
  
  Use of tables of $ v I found that I can see the lock created in 1 and I see the lock created 2 waits for the lock 1.
  I built a process to contact the offending user ([email protected]), and also support page to address the issue because it will be very, very quickly lost productivity if the lock is not resolved. It is a very temporary solution, but is not the answer!
  
  The first lock to expire (I hope) maybe offering an ORA-return error to the application. I tried to kill the sid and it works too, but the application responds a bit funny.   About the laptop that you forgot the password, because, if you use to sign him with an email and password, the Microsoft link in my previous post will allow you to reset the password (as long as you don't forget the associated email) using another PC.

  Start the computer in safe mode and log on to the built-in account named administrator .  You will need to know the password, if any, for this account.  Once, go to Panel > user accounts and change the password for your regular account.

  Then, restart the computer and you connect to your regular account with the new password.  If the computer has a floppy drive, you can make a password reset disk
