I lost Firefox off my Computer - no other way to access the internet. How I install it again?

In the process of pulling up a printer driver which again because my computer won't talk to my printer, I disconnected the e-mail and when I went to get on the internet, yet once he will not otherwise firefox. No other way to get on the internet so it's impossible to download a new version. Other computers in the House can access the internet fine, so routers, etc. are not the problem.

If you have lost of Firefox, it may already be uninstalled.

The installation program will not require allows you to remove old versions of Firefox because it will install just above them.

  • Issue of school laboratory: setting IPs & VMnet1 so two computers can communicate with each other and to access the internet

    Hello ~

This question has probably asked a million times in a way or another, but here's my specific: I'm a laboratory for school. I've set up two virtual servers (Windows Server 2012) in VMware Pro 12. The goal is to speak (see others). According to the instructions of the teacher, I set them up as follows:

"Assign your appropriate servers of IP addresses based on your installation environment.  For example, if your network environment uses the class C address range 192.168.1.x, assign a server IP 192.168.1.10, 255.255.255.0 subnet mask, a default gateway 192.168.1.1 and the other server IP 192.168.1.11, 255.255.255.0 subnet mask, a default gateway 192.168.1.1.  Note: If these IP addresses will conflict with your internal network (provide your virtual machines with access to the internet), please choose a different set of address that will work for you. »

I need to know what will work addresses. got a domain controller DC1.  Now, I can't see each other. I can't connect to Internet via IE which is one of the 'evidence' that I'm supposed to provide.

When I go to the Publisher, I see as the guest only parameter (how is it said to set up when you first install the VMs) is 198.162.150.0. I did not who, but I'm a little but I don't want to make things worse by changing things. I guess that's where the problem is, but I'm not sure what to put the IP, default subset mask and DNS for so I'm stuck.

If it means anything, it is in fact on a borrowed laptop which is connected to the WiFi and wireless. The laptop has internet but I don't know how exactly bringing on the virtual machine when it come to be able to connect. I don't need to become an admin system; This is a compulsory course and I'm just trying to understand enough about it to pass. The problem is that other labs are constructed on it so I can't just ignore it.

Any advice you can offer would be GREATLY appreciated. By the way, happy new year to you all.

Sorry, yes it was a typo. It's supposed to be 192.168.150.xxx.

Although the virtual machine must be able to communicate if they are both configured similarly (i.e. host only in this case), you generally EF IP addresses in the subnet host only for those virtual machines to be able to access it from the host, which - as mentioned earlier - should have an address of VMnet1 IP of 192.168.150.1.

Win7 when configured on the peer-to-peer network has three types of configurations of sharing.

    In the properties

Click on the Security tab shown in the bellows of the photo on the right) and verify that users and their permissions (see photo below Centre and left) are configured correctly. Then do the same for the authorization tab.

When everything is OK, restart the network (router and computer).

    Hello

    1. If it works well before?

    Hi Ranw,

    ·        What is the error message when you try to change parental controls?

    ·        Have you been able to make any changes on this computer from your account earlier?

You can follow the steps below and check if you can make changes to the parental controls on your computer.

    Step 1:

Disable UAC (User Account Control) and check the result. Access the link below and follow the steps to disable UAC.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/turn-user-account-control-on-or-off

Note: You must restart your computer when you enable or disable UAC. Change levels of notification does not require that you restart your computer.

    Step 2:

I suggest to create a new administrator account and log later in the new administrator account, try to set parental controls and check if it works.

    Create a user account:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Create-a-user-account

Check out the link below to check if the parental control is properly set:

  • No program other than IE can access the internet

    Hello

In recent weeks, I've noticed that any program other than IE is unable to access the internet:

    1. I recently downloaded Firefox and it cannot load a single page.

2 Skype updated itself recently and since then, after starting, the cloud of status is stuck on gray - I can not connect.

3 programs MS Office can not access Office live.

4 Norton 360 service starts but Live Update does not work. I don't see the Norton 360 icon in my taskbar either.

    5. I can't connect you using Yahoo Messenger.

    6. I recently tried to download Dreamweaver on the Adobe site, but Akamai Download Manager (which is used by Adobe) cannot access the net.

    7. I tried to launch BitDefender online, but it cannot download information protection antiviruss, so it does not work.

I have done all troubleshooting patches recommended by individual vendors, but nothing helped. It seems to be an underlying operating system. I checked, and Windows Firewall is not defined. There are 148 updates of Windows I have to uninstall it, if it's a problem with them. About 40 of them have been installed since January, at the time where this problem has crept upward.

Can someone help me please? Here, I get desperate that my productivity is declining.

    Martine

There was no Windows firewall configured Brian.

I had a preinstalled version of Mcafee which had expired and had since installed Norton 360. I uninstalled both and slipped the problem.

    Thank you!
    Martine.
