Question
I have "upgraded" to FF5 and now have no refresh or stop icons in the menu bar, are not available in the menu "personalize." How to make a comeback?I'm happy to have helped.
It was something that many users asked when he changed first, and I initially did not know myself that the order of the buttons would make a difference as to if a button or a pair of buttons would be displayed.
If you mark the post as solved while he is recorded in the answer will appear in the results of research and may help others.

I lost sounds to notifications for mail, messages, face time etc. I am running 9.3.1. Don't know where to start to get them back.
Start with a force restart
Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support
If this does not work
Settings - sounds - change the selected sound for mail
See if it "takes".

My computer lost all games provided with the operating system. How to make a comeback?
I don't have the DVD. The operating system came on the computer when I bought it last year.
Hi RuthByram,
The Games folder is the central location for all the games on your computer. If you are referring to the built-in in Windows games, the games are automatically added to the Games folder.
Otherwise, you can turn on Windows features games and check.
a. click the Start button, select Control Panel, click programs and then click turn on turn Windows features on or off. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
(b) to enable the games to open the games and select the checkbox next to the games.
c. click OK.
For more information, see the link:
Install a game in the Games folder

Hope this information is useful.

I lost the icons at the top of my desktop (internet explore, empty bin, etc..) How to make a comeback?
If you see this on your desktop, it is not a Windows application. It's a Dell? Are you referring to the Dell docking station?
Start | All programs | Dell folder. The Dell Dock is listed here? If no, go to: start | Search and type Dell Dock. A bit of luck with that?
If you have lost your machine, you can download it here.

Take the pix you want to use and convert to ICO file type.
Image Converter online free
http://www.coolutils.com/online/image-converter/Place the pix that results in a Windows folder. Right click on a shortcut. Properties | Change icon and navigate to the folder and select the ICO pix you want to use.
If the original size of the pix is too big for what it work, you can make them smaller before changing to an ICO with this free tool, unless you already have a program for resizing.

Impossible to get desktop icons to stick to the main screen.
My main screen to the right of my secondary monitor. How can I stop my desktop icons to switch to the secondary display (left) after the reboot?
Hello
Windows stacks icons in columns on the left side of the office. But you're not stuck with that arrangement. You can move an icon by dragging it to a new location on the desktop.
To unlock the icons so that you can move them again:
a. right click on an area empty office.
b. click viewand then click auto arrange , clear the check box next to it.

My desktop icons are moving to the left of the screen and reset of average size.
Recently I connected to my laptop Toshiba Satellite Pro to find my desktop icons lined up on the left of the screen on the average size.
I've always had my icons implemented as/where I want them and on small.
After right click on the desktop, I found that the medium-sized icons is checked and the Auto Align box is also checked / I unchecked those boxes and replaced my icons where I wish it and restarted my laptop... to find the icons back to the left and back to middle size!
I just spent about 12 hours to try to resolve this problem.
I use XP and I started having problems as soon as I booted up.
I tried several options. Right-click on an empty area of the desktop, System Restore, using my free anti-virus, Avast, but nothing worked, whenever I rebooted the icons moved to the left of the screen.
My final solution was to use a piece of free software called "Malwarebytes".
I ran the scan quick option nd about 18 minutes, he began to identify items of malicious programs.
In total, there were 4 pieces. When "Malwarebytes" asked what I wanted to do, I chose 'delete '.
I had to "reboot" before the changes have taken effect, and I am pleased to report that it does not work with gusto.
I used 'AVAST' when I first add the problem and he found several problems on my hard drive but when I asked to remove them I received a message that the last four items could not be found.
It seems these are ones I finally removed with "Malwarebytes".
I loaded the latest version of AVAST because I find it does not slow down my PC and if I have other problems to suck, I'll use what I can find.
I hope that this help those with similar problems with the icons on the desktop etc. -
