  I think this is a related issue of Windows, because it is the Manager to save the windows file that we are talking about here (right?). You should contact Microsoft for help with this one, I think.   Several weeks ago, I sent a document to my HP 8450 since my Mac via wireless network.  Now that the document continues to print if the printer has not been disabled.  At this point, I have more than a dozen copies! I unplugged the printer and turned it off for long periods.  The next time that I turn it on, it displays the document that I just sent some time later, it prints the document I sent one a few weeks ago.  I can't stop it.  Whenever I use the printer I get a copy of the old document.  I like to waste a lot of paper and ink. I hear it running briefly. it dosent go further than that. and when I goto my computer it dose not show what is in the drive, it is there, but cannot be explored... I've tried everything I can think of and am ready to throw it in a channel! Help, please

  Please ALL these even though you might have made some before as it's often the total process that
  solves the problem. And of course, it could be a bad drive.

  Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
  Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
  This will refresh the default driver stack. And yes the drive can not display at all then otherwise just go
  down the resolution of problems.

  Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
  slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

  Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
