    Hi janavasiljev,

This problem can occur for the following reasons:
    • Auto-hide the taskbar has been selected for the taskbar and Start Menu Properties.
    • Your user account settings are corrupt.
    • The core files are damaged.
    • The Explorer.exe file does not load at startup.

Make sure that the hide option automatically is not selected for the taskbar and Start Menu Properties.

To determine if the hide option automatically is not enabled for the taskbar and Start Menu properties, follow these steps:

    a. press CTRL + ESC.

    b. If the Start menu is displayed, click on the Start menu and then click Properties.

    c. click on the task bar , clear the Auto-hide the taskbar option and then click OK.

    bleedorange1998,
Thanks for posting with us.  I suggest try to start safe mode and see if it works correctly.  If Yes, then you can start using the "last known good configuration."   If in Safe Mode, you have the same problem, you should run chkdsk /r and sfc/scannow.  Here are the instructions for these suggestions.  Post back with the results.

    Hello

    1. Press (Windows key) + R and type "regedit" and press enter.

    Find the following key:

    Geographical area: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

    3. double-click on "PowerdownAfterShutdown.

    Then,
Change it to '0' if it is '1' OR
Change it to '1' if it is '0 '.

    And press ENTER.

    Then reboot andtry to stop.

If this does not work, make sure that you change the value in regedit back to what she was original

    Try this one:

  • Windows XP lost all 'programmes' in my Start menu

In Windows XP, I lost all the "programs" in my Start menu.  The desktop icons disappear as well.  I see the C: drive in Solution Explorer, but no files program are visible.  But, if I double-click on a file in the Solution Explorer, the associated program (Excel, Word, etc.) always launches the file, so I know that the programs are still available.

Under c:\documents and settings, none of the user accounts is displayed, just all users account which is practically empty.

All my favorites are gone from IE, but if I try to add their return with the same name, it indicates the name already exists.

    What is the cause?

Try to display hidden files.  There are some malicious programs out there that hides most of the files that you seem to find missing persons.

Go to the Control Panel-> folder-> View (tab) Options
Check the box "show the hidden files and folders".
Uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" (click on Yes to confirm)
    "OK" your way out.

The files can then appear 'ghosts', indicating that they are hidden.  Right-click on the file, select properties and uncheck "Hidden" so that they are usually visible again.

  • Start menu and white disappeared from tasks

    Hello

recently, my internet explore and google chrome said that they were not able to work. So I searched online how to solve the problem, but now have a new. After you follow the steps, my Start menu and taskbar went white, I can't connect to my internet with various other things. How can I fix it?

Windows key is the key of Windows flag located at the bottom left of your keyboard between the Ctrl and ALT keys

Have you tried to restart the services using the directions that I listed above.

Perform a restore of your system if it is still impossible to start the system restore.  No other alternative.

Disconnect all external devices - printer, speakers, microphone, etc...

Start > in the search bar, type Recovery > select Recovery Manager

Turn the system power off, reboot and start typing the key F11, F10 or F8 (depends on your system brand) to bring up the recovery screen

    Good luck

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

    See you soon.

  • The start menu and taskbar does not appear.

original title: the start menu and taskbar does not appear.  IM on windows 7.  Any help please?

The start menu and taskbar does not appear.  IM on windows 7.  Any help please?

You can try to leave Explorer yourself.  Here's how:

    1. Press Ctrl-Shift-escape, which should open the Task Manager.
    2. On the file menu, choose new task.  Type explorer.exe and press ENTER.  The taskbar and the desktop should appear.

However, this is not a permanent solution.  My best advice to you would be to use the system restore to go back to one hour before the beginning of the question.  This restoration process takes about 2 minutes and will not lose one of your folders: it restores only the settings from the system to a point in time that you choose (you can 'come back' as little as a few hours or several weeks).

To do a test, follow the steps below.  I guess that you are unable to reach the taskbar for the following steps:

    1. Press Ctrl-Shift-escape, which should open the Task Manager.
    2. On the file menu, choose new task.  Type rstrui.exe (this name is for 'restore user interface').  When you click OK, the system restore should start.
    3. Through the system restore program, you will choose a time to come back. When you have completed the program, your computer will restart with the settings at this time.

Please let me know if it helps.
