I LR6 CC and use Windows 10. I had to uninstall and want to reinstall.
I've been running LR6 CC on Windows 10. He was running although slowly, but when I tried to download imagers more that he would not charge and the computer hung up. I have the system closed and restarted my PC. Same result. A few tests later LR icon was gray and not active at all. I then uninstalled LR and when I tried to reinstall I have as much when asked me to make the payment. I pay by monthly subscription. How can I continue. Thank you. Mike

Three options.
(1) start from the XP CD, format the HARD drive, create TWO partitions, install XP on the first then the second 7.
(2) use virtualisatioin if your machine it handles pretty well. Install Virtual PC or VMWare Server and install XP on a virtual disk.
(3) (easiest if you have Pro 7, Ultimate or Enterprise) download and install XP Mode

Hello, just set up a new computer laptop and wanted to reinstall CS5 on it. The system is El capitan. When I finished the download and try to install I got a message saying the installation file is damage and saying it s better power eject it. I know that usually an OEM will activate not in another computer, but surely there would be some kind of exception in this particular case. I will definitely buy another Windows 7 software to accommodate a second generation, but I want it to be a professional OEM. Then, I would remove the HP 7 which is in my primary building and replace it with the professional 7. I would setup when the second generation using the disc for HP 7. Prior to this game plan and 7 professionals buying, I would like to be sure that I can activate successfully relocated 7 HP.
This will not work because of licensing restrictions.
The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:
-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft
-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on
-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard
-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system
You need a full commercial version.

Hi there I would take my netbook XP to the day I bought it. Unfortunately, I do not back up the netbook and did not receive a CD of instalation with the purchase. FIXIT ran a few times and that did not help.
Finally, I did a search for all files and folders with KB2729450 in the name. There were about 8 files in the TEMP folder. I reasoned that the patch has been downloaded, but not applied.
I have deleted all entries with KB2729450 in the name. I then to Microsoft and downloaded the patch manually. So I ran the patch. The hotfix has been installed and the update notification disappeared.

40 Firefox no longer displays the login prompt of authorization basis for a framed page that is hosted on a different server. This is to protect you from accidentally giving your credentials for the external page for an attacker.
One solution is to use the page framed directly, but if you prefer to disable this new protection, there is an option to do so. Of course, please be wary of this guest appearing on other sites.
(1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.
(2) in the search above the list box, type or paste auth and make a pause so that the list is filtered
(3) double-click the preference of network.auth.allow - subresource-auth and edit the 1 to 2, and then click OK
- 1 shows the dialog box logon only for pages framed, images, etc., hosted on the same site
- 2 allows the connection to pages dialog box framed, images, etc., hosted on any site
This should take effect the next time you reload the external page (your home address).

I can do everythinga usaual with Firefox until I try and access my email through gmail. Throws a message of cookies, but unabke to check and none of th advice seems to work. If I connect Internet Explorer instead of Firefox, I have no problem at all but would prefer to use Firefox. I also even handler message when I connect my butthen blog (no problem) try to download pictures form the hard drive.
I tried to uninstall Firefox and then download again, but even this has not solved the problem of cookies. Should I try this again and remove the Firefox of the computer, wait a few moments and then download? If so, presukably I have to startagain with my "Bookmarls".

I use Windows 7, I downloaded Firefox 17 it will not load I'll uninstall and it will not uninstall. When I use Thunderbird I try to go to a web site and get the error could not load xpcom.

Go to www.getfirefox.com and download Firefox 24 (do not use Firefox 17 not supported) and install it.

Some plug-ins must be updated. When I click on "update now" and download the update, I get a message "another installation is in progress. You must complete that installation before continuing this one. "I use Windows 8. There is NOTHING else being downloaded at the moment. I rebooted and it does not help this happened for several days.
Plug-ins that I try to put up-to-date are QuickTime and Google Earth. Also, I was unable to update my printer software.

Found the solution on my own. If this happens to you, I open the troubleshooting Windows Update (Windows 8), and corrected the problem in order for me to update all plug-ins. Rebooted and everything was fine!

I've updated to 17 FF and use Windows 7 on a 2 year old Sony Vaio laptop. Since the update, I can't click on some links, most of which seem to be located at the top of web pages. I also have problems with click and hold to scroll through the long (on the side). He is very picky on where the button sliding I can click on to make it work. I have no problem with the up arrow and down buttons on the right side.
