  You say that a "report" is 30 GB?  Or a folder containing files?

  Maybe overkill - but unless you have less than 1 GB of memory (live RAM) of the system, the upgrade of memory was probably exaggerated too with WIndows XP.  ;-)

  Search for malware:

  Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

  • MalwareBytes (FREE)
  • SuperAntiSpyware (FREE)

  Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

  Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

  You have to follow the instructions for the erasure or use recovery mode in iTunes again. .   You need an internet connection and a computer with iTunes. Try a French FRY or Apple store
