I'm trying to uninstall acrobat 7 pro. I get error 2753, UninstManager.dll and uninstall stops.
I'm having problems with Acrobat 7.0 pro. I wanted to do a uninstall and then re - install to get a clean load, but I get msg error 2753 UninstManager.dll and uninstall stops. I use this on a PC with Windows 7.0 Pro, 64-bit. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Acrobat 7 is a very old version and is not compatible with Windows 7. It's time to get a newer version.

I just got a new Macbook Pro when I reinstall my CS4 Master Collection everything works fine, but I can't get Acrobat 9 pro to get the serial key
OK, it worked. Someone suggested dismantling drives all connected. In fact, no luck. But while all the disks were taken out and closed all applications I uninstalled Acrobat Pro using the application in the folder Acrobat Pro. Then I went back to the installer and have already told him only to install Acrobat Pro. Once done everything first, I opened Acrobat Pro. He asked to install some extras and I said no a few times. It opened and worked on a test pdf. With her still open I tried to open Acrobat Distiller. He did not ask a serial number, but I wanted to just install an extra. I said no again and it finished opening. Wanted to be my default PDF application but an extract which is better so I said, person not the last time. He has worked to create a perfect pdf of an Illustrator EPS. Hope this works for you also.

I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extender. When I try to convert a Word file to PDF that says that it cannot find the drivers from the Adobe PDF printer and reinstall Adobe Acrobat 9.0. In addition, when I open just the program Acrobat 9 Pro Extender an error message comes up saying that a part of the Capture 3D plugin has been damaged. I went to customer service and they sent me here. Please tell me that this is not another race. I'm running out of patience! I have 10 window.
Acrobat 9 is quite old and not longer supported. The last Windows OS that could use Acrobat 9 has Windows 7 and Acrobat had to have all updates applied.
You need to upgrade to Acrobat DC.

We have Acrobat 9 Pro running on both PCs, with 7 and 8 operating system. We would like to turn off a computer with 8 because we get it. We want to disable Acrobat, then download on a Mac pro. However, we have not the deactivate option available in the drop down aid. Disabling is visible on another desktop computer. Can you advise us on how to disable it on the old laptop and download on the new laptop Mac?
You can't do that. If you have a license for Windows, you can not use it on a Mac.
In addition, Acrobat 9 is obsolete and is not compatible with any current operating system (including Windows 8, which is said by the way).

I have Remote Desktop servers with Adobe Acrobat XI pro 2008R2. When a user tries to send a pdf by email, it pops up a message 'How you want to send this email' to choose ' email by default application (Microsoft Outlook) and remember my choice. " So the next time they try to send an e-mail, the GET a warning "this email will be sent using"Default e-mail Application (Microsoft Outlook)". Click on 'Edit preferences' to change your default account settings. They do click on do not display this message and then continue. (in fact, I have a couple of users who must go through this process every time that they sign the Remote Desktop server),
I downloaded the pack of SMA political group and I can't find any of the default settings for a user.
Are there group policy settings or a registry entry, I can do on the Desktop server remotely to these default settings?
Thanks in advance
Distilling is a different product. The prefs should go under Adobe Acrobat.

I have a 2008 15 "Unibody Macbook Pro with replaceable battery life of five hours. It has 8 GS of RAM and it is initialized under Mountain Lion. The Acrobat Pro 11 Installer get hung up when it gets to "install script blocks...". "It never ends installation. I tried after starting in safe mode and then start Mode once again used to start the mode. I have had no success. The Acrobat Pro 11 installer works fine when it is installed on my Mac Pro 2007 32-bit office, started under Leo. I have to try something fancy with the command line, using the Terminal application? I'm puzzled.
Greetings, Rave and Sabian.
I solved the problem installing Acrobat Pro 11 without reformatting the internal hard drive of my Macbook Pro. I reinstalled Mountain Lion on top of the existing installation of Mountain Lion.
I have reinstalled Lion on my ' 07 32 bit Mac Pro, a month ago, and it is resolved many issues. So, re-install on top existing Cougar Mountain Lion facility was the difficulty of obtaining the Acrobat Pro 11 install to complete and eliminate also some other system bugs I had.
After using Acrobat Pro 11 on my Mac Pro, for more than a week, I must say that it is a huge improvement on Acrobat 9 Pro. I like to have the tools and commenting on the tabs above to the right of the window and using the top menu much less. It scrolls PDF pages and comments two separate activities, which allows the refresh of the screen to be much faster and better.
Acrobat Pro 11 is a great version!

I'm trying to install Acrobat 9 Pro on my new MacBook Pro
I have an old MacBook Pro I replace after 6 years. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 on it, and it works very well for my needs. I am trying to install the program on the disk on my new MacBook Pro before I remove it from the former. It seems that it installs, but then I can't access drop downs or whatever program once it is open.
I tried to remove and reinstall several times. It does not work. I need Acrobat Pro only to save PDF forms that I use in my work. I don't need it for many other projects or features. There is no reason I should have to spend $400 to get a program that is not only old for this simple, limited use when it works well on computers running my OS.
I found a solution on another channel in the Adobe forum: https://forums.adobe.com/message/8060367#8060367
I had to try a combination of the others who are listed, but I managed to do the work. You are also in this chain of communication, then I suggest you to bookmark for future reference if others have this issue.
