XI Acrobat default pro email instead of e-mail application and remember my choice 2008R2 Remote Desktop server

I have Remote Desktop servers with Adobe Acrobat XI pro 2008R2.  When a user tries to send a pdf by email, it pops up a message 'How you want to send this email' to choose ' email by default application (Microsoft Outlook) and remember my choice. "  So the next time they try to send an e-mail, the GET a warning "this email will be sent using"Default e-mail Application (Microsoft Outlook)".  Click on 'Edit preferences' to change your default account settings.  They do click on do not display this message and then continue.  (in fact, I have a couple of users who must go through this process every time that they sign the Remote Desktop server),

I downloaded the pack of SMA political group and I can't find any of the default settings for a user.

Are there group policy settings or a registry entry, I can do on the Desktop server remotely to these default settings?

Distilling is a different product. The prefs should go under Adobe Acrobat.

    You can't do that. If you have a license for Windows, you can not use it on a Mac.

    In addition, Acrobat 9 is obsolete and is not compatible with any current operating system (including Windows 8, which is said by the way).

    As you cannot send an e-mail using webmail on Internet Explorer, as well as the issue might be with BT server.

    I am facing a strange problem today.

    I created a document of quote on Adobe Acrobat, with fields to fill. This doc is made complete by the commercial officers, locked and then mailed to clients and prospects.


    Our process is simple: we fill the doc and then sign to lock. We "save under" the doc and then send it by mail to our customers. I tested it for weeks and on computers laptops, everything is ok, it works perfectly.

    But today I discovered something really strange: If I want to read one of this document received by mail on iPhone (mail app)... the content disappears...

    The problem is that the default PDF Viewer does not support forms. What you can do is to flatten the form fields before send you it, which converts fields of common page elements, which will be visible in the email app. More information on flattening, as well as a free JavaScript-based tool can be found here: UVSAR: tool for selective flattening for Adobe Acrobat 8, 9 and X

    You cannot send mailing lists.

    You can export the content of a mailing list in a file and send the file to someone else. They should use the contact information in the file to import it into their address book, and then create a mailing list.

    The export command is under tools in the address book window. Find out what kind of file, customer email receivers can work with and send them this type of file.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610 - answering a call by phone, and then receive a fax remotely

    We just purchased and installed a Pro Officejet 8610 as a fax on our home/office phone line.

    The phone line also receives regular calls and a phone is connected to the line BUT 2 FLOORS above.

    Is it possible to receive a fax after having responded to the call from the phone?

    If the phone was near the Officejet we can start the fax by using the touch screen, but this is not the case.

    We had a standard fax machine (Sharp UX-238) that can be started remotely directly from the phone that answers the call simply typing "5."

  • Meadow Bell send email on account Telus (mail Application Alert)

    Hi all

    Help required on all you smart people out there.

    I've just activated a Bell Palm Pre in the Canada, and my email provider is Telus.

    I entered my e-mail address of Telus and the password during the first start-up procedure, and the Pre started up well and was able to sync with my e-mail Web of Telus server.  I have seen emails pushed to my Inbox and could also see the other folders in my webmail account.

    Then I tried to send an email, and the problems began.  My email was sent to my hotmail ([email protected]) account.  When I hit send, the status line at the bottom of the pre says "sending"test"  (I called my first email 'test').  Then a few seconds later, I had another status that says "error sending"test"  Then a little envelope icon showed up on the bottom right and clicking on the icon has raised a large triangle of yellow warning with the message "alert Email-request" and below "error sending"test"  The outgoing email then just sits in the Outbox with a small yellow triangle next to him.

    Then I went into my email account settings and went in the "Change Log-In Settings.

    My incoming mail server was listed as imap.telus.net but incoming worked OK, so I got that.

    The outgoing mail server was smtp.telus.net and the button 'Use authentication' was in position 'On' with my email address and password below.  He used the port 587 without encryption.

    The first thing I tried was to "use authentication" in the Off"" position.  Button slipped to 'Off', so, then, I left the settings page.  The status line at the bottom of the pre says "Update Preferences".  So just to check, I went back to the settings page, and the 'use authentication' was mysteriously turned to 'On '.  I tried this several times since then, and the Pre refused to organize the marketing in 'Off', my 'use authentication' is now always 'On '.

    At this point, I called Bell Tech Support.  I talked to a guy named 'Jimmy '.  He had me change the outgoing mail to mail.telus.net and then to mail.1xbell.ca server, but none of those who have helped.  In fact, they seem worse, because now the Pre would be trying to send the email out about 30 seconds to a minute before you puke upwards the same error as before.

    Jimmy asked me to change the settings for the port at 20 and activate the SSL encryption.  Nothing helps.

    Jimmy finally said that he could not help and I should call Palm support.  But by then, they were closed for the night.

    I thank Jimmy and continued to try to work around.  I put all my settings back to what they were before I talked to Jimmy.  I tried a few more things, which sent an email to another address of [email protected] .  WOW! Success!  This e-mail is sent successfully.  But wtf?  Why only at telus.net email addresses?

    It was about midnight, and I got on the phone to technical support of Telus (they're going 24 x 7).  I logged on to Vartsala.  I explained the problem (about four times) that I could only send to addresses [email protected] and to me it seemed that Telus smtp e-mail server blocking addresses other than telus.net e-mail addresses.  She insisted that the smtp server of Telus is not the problem, and it is the Palm Pre level.  But why the Palm could send email [email protected] , but not the email [email protected] ?  She could not answer.  I then spoke to her supervisor, who also insisted, it wasn't a problem with the smtp server of Telus.  Then, she refused to me more help because she said it wasn't a problem of Telus, and there was nothing she could do.

    This is my first question to anyone out there:  Is this a problem of Palm Pre, or is there a problem with the e-mail Telus smtp server accepts only not messages of the pre unless you be directed to the address [email protected] ?

    This morning I called Palm support and then be put on hold for an hour, techcinal I am connected to "Juliette".  Juliet took down my info and said that she would not be able to help with this.  She said a person you will call later today, or maybe in a few days and I should be patient.  So, no solutions there.

    Any ideas anyone?

    OK people, I think we have a winner.

    I finally got frustrated while I sponsored a conference call with a Palm level 3 tech support guy, the representative of Telus and a representative of Bell.  We were waiting for a total of 45 minutes that I chained call along and everyone eventually got on the same line.

    So here's the deal: the installation must be done manually as proposed by thepoet.  The incoming server is OK as imap and imap.telus.net without encryption.  The outgoing server must be set to point to mail.1xbell.ca WITHOUT authentication, port 25 and no encryption.  Initial Bell tech support guy was very close to the solution, just the incorrect port number and the wrong sequence of implementation.

    I could send successfully, but want to try a few things more before I declare it is a complete success.

  • Typewriter in Acrobat 9 Pro

    Typewriter in Acrobat 9 Pro is now just type in 'Comments' and not on the page. What's wrong?  I opened a pdf document > click the button of the typewriter > used "A_" showed > I clicked on the document had to I wanted to enter text > when finished I clicked on "Save". At this point, the text disappeared from the page. I did again and again that the text has disappeared.

    After several attempts to find the text, I noticed that the text is in the comments"" section. How in the world he end up in the comments?

    I noticed that when I clicked on the page with the slider to the "A_" the rest as "A_" mouse pointer even if the standard blinking cursor has shown on the page.

    There is an easy solution for it porbably but I have not spotted. How do I type of function 'Typewriter' on the 'Page' and not in the "comments"?  Thank you

    It is a known problem. It occurs when the default opacity to typewriter annotations is set to a very low value, but it is unclear why this is happening. The solution is to change it back, as described here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/1169647

I had the program installed and running on a Windows XP computer as well, but I took it off the coast of this computer when I stopped using it.     However if you are able to use it, you can go ahead and use it. It could create problems.

    It is possible to use any version of Acrobat on two systems on the same platform at the same time.

    You must simply download Acrobat and serialize using the same serial number. Adobe allows two facilities for a license of Acrobat that could be installed on a different machine, be it laptop or a desktop computer, but they should be on the same platform.
