  I'm new to the forum, so I apologize for my lack of right to know from the outset.
  
  I am creating a flash file that plays a video and once finished video you see, instead of the video, a still image with buttons on it. The buttons would be "replay video" or "go to url".
  
  I'm on how import video and create a swf with a skin and a FLV file base. But I can not get my head wrapped around how, once the video reaches the end, have the image, change and display 2 buttons.
  
  If you know some tutorials or know examples, that would hep.

  Oh complex - I think I got this one...

  Click component flv and give it the instance name vid.
  Create your buttons onto the scene in place - give everyone an instance name. Fix them in invisible using actionscript.

  Use this code on the image containing the flv file - not to fix this code for the component. It must BE on THE FRAME, not on the component...

  My original question was; video links youtube work with the video Overlay option in Indesign? I tried a handful of ways and I only see a video player when I export the .article and the view on the ipad. I've attached screenshots. The last of them agrees ipad.

  For streaming of YouTube videos, the best approach is to create an overlay of Web, not a video overlay.

  1. choose the command object > insert HTML code and paste the embed code you copied from YouTube. When you click OK, a decorative frame of web is created in the right dimensions. It usually has a horrible black frame with a Flash warning. Which ignores for now.

  2 Select the web object and select Auto Play in the overlays Panel. This car plays the web object, not the video itself.

  3. Add a static image poster with a button "play" on the web overlay.

  I bought some video stock with graphics to use in a slideshow using Photodex ProShow Gold. It's the video. I am trying to create a video overlay by transparent white background. I use Premiere Elements 3.0.2. I can use the Chroma Key effect on the video and set the similarity to remove the white background, but I don't know where to go from here. I did a forum search, but couldn't find what I need. Some Internet research, I was able to determine that not all video formats support transparency or the other, so some tips on the best format in which to save the finished clip would also be useful.   You can certainly use the Chroma Key video effect for fact a video on a transparent upper trail, prairiegirl.

  You can, however, export video to Premiere Elements with alpha - or transparency - in the video, if that's what you try to do it.

  This feature is available in After Effects. However, it is a much more powerful and more expensive program.

  I do a digital publication, and I wish I had the video player show on top of the video during playback. I put it in the Group of media and when I preview the it, it shows the overlay correctly but when I see it on the iPad, the overlay is not available. It is therefore impossible for me to change to fullscreen or pause... No idea why this is happening? I use a personalized so poster which gives no clue.

  Also I notice whenever I use an excerpt and I quit with the X in the upper right, it blocks the program, and I get an error message. This has no effect on my ability to work, but it's a gene. Is - fixable? I'm on windows.

  My problem is solved. I had to choose to see the overlay in the video overlay Panel and audio folio. I thought that I didn't have sice, it has been in the media panel and it previews like I wanted, but I was wrong.

  I have a problem of Age of Empires 2 running on my new computer. Keeps displaying the following error message: "cannot initialize the graphics system.   I had the above problem with AOEII:Age of the Kings. My brief spec is Windows 7 Ultimate edition (SP1) and a card nVidia 8600 GT. I did the following (make sure you reboot after each installation):

  Make sure that you are running the latest patch of AOEII:AOK (2. 0 a):

  Download and install the latest version of DirectX:

  Download and install the latest nVidia Driver suite. I left the autodetect my card software and reset all my default settings. I also installed the full software suite:

  Finally, right click on the shortcut of AOE and click Properties. Click on the Compatibility tab and select the following:

  -Run this program in compatibility mode - choose Windows XP Service Pack 2 (!) NOT 3!)
  -Disable visual themes
  -Disable the Composition of the Bureau
  -Run this program as an administrator

  One of the above options maybe work on its own, but that's what I had to do to make it work and I tested it after each step.

  What kind of graphics card you have and you have the latest DirectX and video card drivers? If this isn't the case, update them.

• Windows Media Player 12 - Video DVD plays but the images are not displayed

  I have a DVD that we created with Adobe Encore.  It has a mixture of video and still images to a timeline.  I play this back on a new computer Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 12.  The DVD plays back fine until it reaches the fixed image on the timeline.  At that time the reading shows just the last frame of the video to the video portion.  The audio continues, but it does not show the image.  We tried multiple image formats, and nothing seems to work (.jpg, .tiff, .psd).  The video is very good reading but with CyberLink DVD player and on a standard TV/DVD player.

  Any thoughts?

  What version of Premiere Elements and what operating system is involved?

  Can I assume that the stills are on Video 2 video 1 video above?

  If this is the case, place the indicator of the timeline on the still, click on the still image in the editing area monitor to display the bounding box of the image.

  Then use one of the handles of the bounding box to scale the image to fill the monitor space just at the point where the image below is not seen.

  What is your predefined project?

  What are the properties of your source media? And, did you, yourself or the project define the project preset to match the properties of the media source?

  What are the dimensions in pixels of these photos that you import into the project?

  What effect you are trying to create with these stills? Just in case message... the content on the top rail will be visible and content on a lower rail just below it will not be unless there are areas of transparency within the content of the upper track. If there are areas of transparency within the content of the upper track, then the lower content of track appear across these areas. Looks like what happens for you. In addition, Premiere Elements represents transparency as black, not black.
