  I downloaded a graph (AdobeStock_117354228 & AdobeStock_117354263) and I am unable to edit the text. Specifically, it seems that there is too much anchor and points objects able to edit this file.

  Text in .ai files are converted into marks if they use a non system font. If the image uses a font that is not on a computer by default may not be included in an editable file because the author has failed to provide to the police. The only way to change in all the classes like this is to open the image in PS and use the recognition of police tool to find the font used or one close to it. Then, delete the text in the image and add your own. It is a question of law with the licensing of fonts that requires to do this way.

  I do not know what type of objects you have in your file, but you can give it a shot with the color of the background on the text object. Keep in mind even if it can work for you is not the way type is designed for a thinner font. So, the quality of the design may not be up to a professional level.

  I need someone else to be able to change the text in a pdf file I created from Illustrator. They have full acrobat should be able to change it. I tried myself to test before you send it, but it does not work. The original file has been created in Illustrator CS6 and saved in pdf format (text not created contours). I opened the file in acrobat and try it saved as file extended to be able to change the text but not luck. You will be able to highlight the existing text and replace it. I tried to change the text of the tool, but rather only a selection box around each line of text, it puts a selection box around the text. I can highlight the text and delete it, but I am unable to change it. Each individual text line should be editable. Is there something I need to do differently in Illustrator so it can work correctly in Acrobat?

  This really isn't an appropriate use of Acrobat. You should all use the same editing tool (i.e. Illustrator).

  The editing of text in Illustrator tool would be to edit the text Document. There is no guarantee that it will divide nicely in lines, it is trying to help by making the text of paragraph.

  In theory, you can use a form for this (fill in the blank for dates) but really, you should use the same tool. Not necessarily Illustrator, more Excel or specialist software calendar.

  Welcome to the forum.

  In the panel mounting, Dbl-Click on the title to open it in the Titler, and then use the selection tool to select the text to edit.

  Don't forget, if you have multiple Instances of a title in the timeline panel, the changes will be "global" for all these bodies.

  Glad you stuck with this issue cuz I pulled a real boner trying to fix. I was totally distraught on the main menu of * two * UNDO and REDO. If you remember that I tried to install the menu shortcut for UNDO them and REDO and totally rejected the idea that they might be under Edit on the crazy Main Menu which of course, they have been and worked like a charm.
