I'm unable to remove Canon bubble jet driver

My Cannon, bubble jet printer packed, I think that the power supply was at fault. I bought a new HP 5515 d and I installed set up the disc, it does not work and I can't delete the old driver of Canon from the computer that is a: Dell Inspiron 9400 laptop. I went into Control Panel and clicked on the button Delete, and the sign said it was removing, but nothing happens. Someone knows how can I remove the driver of Canon. I suspect that this driver will stop my new printer to work. I use a wireless network, and that's fine. A print from the new printer tells me his license. I got a message from HP, implemented by saying that I failed to set up the printer, and I am convinced that it is the former Canon driver that prevents the whole upward.

It is possible, but unlikely, that the Canon printer installation prevents the HP being installed.  However, because you don't need it, here's how to get rid of it.

Here's my standard advice for printing problems related to the print spooler does not, and some of them do not apply to your situation. Because you can see the printer icon in printers and faxes (I guess that's what you mean by your description of how you tried to delete), the computer print spooler does not seem to be stopped, then you can probably safely ignore the 'NOTE' at the beginning and the special procedure for Lexmark printers.

In the second command that you type in the command prompt, there is a space after del and after / q (you can also copy the line, and then paste (right-click) in the command prompt window).

When you get to an Article, just follow steps 1-5.  Instead of steps 6-9, use the CD that came with your HP printer.

If you still can't make it work, please reply with the full text of the error messages.

Before cleaning the things at the top, on general principles, that you can download, install, update and run full scans with each of these two free programs:

AntiMailware MalwareBytes
SUPERAntiSpyware

Do not operate the two scans simultaneously.  Each will take a long time, so start it and then go do something else for a while.

Cleaning of printers

NOTE: If after completing step has the print spooler is not always running after you launched the command "net start spooler", you will not be able to follow all the steps in "First Article".  Use of the special procedure for printers Lexmark described below and follow in its first Article.  If still no joy, use the alternative method that is linked below.

A. Clean on print jobs pending

  • Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
  • Type the following in the black command prompt window, and then press ENTER after each line

net stop spooler
del/q '% windir%\system32\spool\PRINTERS\*.* '.
net start spooler
output

B. clean the old printer drivers and install the latest drivers by using the directions in One Article.

A special procedure for computers that have or had a Lexmark or Dell-badged Lexmark printer.

Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)

Type the following in the black command prompt window and press enter

dependent on the spooler of sc config = RPCSS
output

Note that there is no space before the =

If you want to use a Lexmark or Dell-badged Lexmark printer after having done the above, you will need to reinstall it.

    With player application you can not remove the protection.

    However, you can perform using Acrobat application.

    Remove password security

    You can remove security from an open PDF if you have the permissions to do so. If the PDF is secured with a security policy based on server, only the author of policy or a server administrator can change.

    Open the PDF file, and then click Tools > Protect > Encrypt > remove security.

    Your options vary depending on the type of password security attached to the document:

    If the document contains only a Document open password, click OK to delete the document.

    If the document contains a permissions password, type it in the box, enter the password, and then click OK. Click OK again to confirm the action.

    I m not 100% sure, but I think there is a screw under the keyboard that attach the drive. You must remove the keyboard and check if there are screws that fix the drive.

    Your hard drive, installed on a computer with Windows XP was preinstalled by the computer manufacturer? If this is the case, then you have a "OEM version" of Windows which is linked to the computer first it is installed on and cannot be moved or reinstalled on another computer.

    If however you have a "Commercial" of XP version that you bought in a store, then you should be able to activate by phone, be aware that move the drive from one computer to another is more often go to work and XP may have problems (device drivers and other issues). The best solution is a clean installation (after you back up your data files).
